Prior to the pdp convention that took place in portharcourt. South east pdp leaders led by ekweremadu and governor umahi had an agreement with atiku on these things should their delegates give bloc votes

After making findings they discovered that south east leaders worked for atiku by instructing their delegates to give bloc votes to atiku.since then wike has promised to deal with south east leaders for working against his wish.

Wike also snubbed south east leaders on composition of presidential campaign council .
