As a resident of Kaduna,I dont take sides in these matters. Rather, I keep asking the educated Northern elites why they have turned their subjects and constituencies into militias, ethnic and religious armies. A typical Hausa Muslim does not believe that a Yoruba or Igbo Muslim is equally a Muslim like him. Instead he sees them as converts and unbelievers who hide under the guise of Islam to commit idolatory or puttin it properly, a Kafiri. A Christain Southern Kaduna man sees every Muslim as a terrorist that must be brouht down before he causes havoc.
