The Senator representing Rivers West , Osinakachukwu Ideozu , has defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC ).

Majority Leader of the Senate , Ahmed Lawan, announced Osinakachukwu’ s defection at plenary on Wednesday .
Lawan, who was moving a motion for the adjournment of plenary till Nov. 6 , welcomed and congratulated him for joining the majority party .

With this , the three senators from Rivers , a PDP controlled state , are now members of the APC .
The others are Sen. Andrew Uchendu (Rivers East ) and Magnus Abe (Rivers South East )

How we are celebrating these guys is beyond my ken?
Some will start praising or abusing him as if he has ever contributed anything directly or indirect to our growth. He has only gone to the NASS to acquire wealth for his family and friends use.
Patiently looking forward to seeing Nigeria Labour Congress going on strike because of the jumbo pays our NASS getting everyday. They should be placed on minimum wage and see how those who love good names above money truly representing the interest of the people. Would NLC do that? Never, every union is all about personal gains, forget unionism in Nigeria. We don't know what we want.
Stop celebrating those who are there to steal your future before you get there.
