Odunayaw:
Passing SBS BOC-C can't be accomplished by someone afraid to die.
If that person escapes that, the next 10-12months of training will quickly strip the person naked.

SBS BOC-C is modeled like SEALs BUD/s with a touch of Nigerian flavor grin. You have heard the testimony of an officer here, these ones are as rough as crocodile hide.

Officers don't stay long because of career progression. What officer doesn't want to reach the pinnacle of his career (Admiralty)

The NA personnel that were trained by/with the SBS return to their parent units(NA SF or the likes) bringing their experience along
FACT
If you are in the NA and the individual fears life or death very unlikely in this current dispensation to make it past Major, current Military heirachy pays critical attention to COMBAT EXPERIENCE.

I don't know much neither will I speak with authority on the matter.

Progression in rank (officers) is hampered when you remain in a small unit all around the world
Example, how do you expect to make Colonel if you remain in a group with less than 500 men.

Its an Officer's dream to go to War college, earn a redneck, hold a command etc (this is a reason the officer class irritates me tho undecided)

modified;
BOC-C is a replica of Navy Seals BUD/S
5 months long if am not mistaken, broken into Physical Conditioning phase (Which includes Hell week), Diving Phase & Land Phase.

Promotion in the NA is different from anywhere in the world
1) For (FORMAL) pass exam
2) Don't do "stupid stuff"
3) 15 years gets you to MAJOR/LT .COL
4) Peer review, comes into play small unit or not get your ass to jaji for junior officer's command
5) Col, is regarded as a senior officer ( NIG) again pass your exam/ get your ass to jaji
6) Brig . GEN : Pass exam , peer review, combat experience*, geographic balance, comes into play Once you are a GEN in NA you are a GEN
* TYB looks at this a lot
SSC OR DSSC is irrelevant

There's only one commodore in the SBS and that's the commander of the whole shebang.

To go up the chain, you HAVE TO lEAVE

Worth sharing, sure, but what i see there is just sadness.
Look how scary that was lol, all the machinery of death we built, just to do one thing, kill one another, I hope i would be dead before the next world war , it would be disastrous

Yes it is a mandatory requirement regardless of where you are in the ranks
i can tell you it factually to get promoted from COL or its equivalent in the NAVY you have to sit and pass the exam , and then wait till you are called to get your One Star.

either way we all re gonna die someday..

The weapons re for protection from enemies, but sadly most times, it gets to the enemies hands.

Aren't we saying the same thing? Protection from what? That's what's sad, it's for protection from one another. Hope you get it.
And yes everybody dies, how we die also matters. Would you rather be sick and stuck in an hospital bed for 10 months before dying, or die peacefully in your sleep without illness, or be blown apart during war.
I think you get my point.
What I'm saying is, we humans are sadly still as savage as ever. So yea, it is sad

It is not a tank

Note the markings for the ammo types APT ( armour piercing tracer ) , M1 ? (missile tube) , M2 ? (missile tube) , MG ( Machine gun ) GL ? ( grenade launcher )

Rest markings can't make out.

It is the gunner FCS for a turret equipped with autocannon/high calibre MG , a coaxial machine gun, grenade launcher and 2 X missile tubes

Some of the listed weapons might be missing , the FCS will have the capability to fire the said weapons if they r installed

From the top right corner of the screen you can see 2 APT, 5 FT, 12 GL, the others were 1,1 while that of machine gun was blank.
