Ekweremadu is of no political value to the APC, to be sincere. In fact, no Igbo politician is of any value to the APC as they cannot guarantee any meaningful vote. Rochas couldn't deliver Imo in 2015 as a sitting governor.

Ekweremadu should be less worry if not be chiding as VP is his fear. If pdp had choose him by now apc won't let the world rest from calling pdp all kind of names only Atiku as flagbearer apc has be weeping and mourning so Ekweremadu was added then apc will just commit suicide.

I think choosing Peter Obi is wise idea as he is a bit free from any corruption case so it's better and beside he is a very intelligent man.

Unlike Osibanjo who cannot resign despite the obvious anti-christian stand of Buhari, Obi will resign and return to his house long before an Atiku rubbishes his legacy.

Perhaps for the first time in decades we will have a VP who will be very active in affairs of state.

Ike Ekweremadu is very greedy! PDP raised you from Aninri LGA chairman, Enugu state SSG etc., to a Senator for more than 12 years and presently serving as Deputy Senate president. I think Ekweremadu doesn't know God. In all of these, we cannot point to any factory owned by you that produces anything for economic prosperity. The Peter Obi you think should have been dropped has succeeded in business, governance and economic management. He also has penetrated the USA parliament, even when he's not a Senator. I'm sure if he has anything to ask from Donald Trump, he'd get it.

Ekweremadu is now only PDP by name. He will surely work against the party because his interest is better served with APC in power.
