From the top right corner of the screen you can see 2 APT, 5 FT, 12 GL, the others were 1,1 while that of machine gun was blank.
U r looking at the display overlays on the screen
They r visual cues for the gunner , nothing more.

I am talking about the weapon selector ( part of the FCS ) - the white box with the knob labelled select weapon specifically.

Yes I saw it. I actually thought what was displayed on the screen means the arms left in each of the weapon system. Am a novice sha.
nemesis8u:
It is not a tank

Note the markings for the ammo types APT ( armour piercing tracer ) , M1 ? (missile tube) , M2 ? (missile tube) , MG ( Machine gun ) GL ? ( grenade launcher )

Rest markings can't make out.

It is the gunner FCS for a turret equipped with autocannon/high calibre MG , a coaxial machine gun, grenade launcher and 2 X missile tubes

Some of the listed weapons might be missing, the FCS will have the capability to fire the said weapons if they r installed

NAF DESTROYS BOKO HARAM TERRORISTS LOGISTICS BASE, VEHICLES AT TUMBUN SALE IN BORNO STATE

The Air Task Force (ATF) of Operation LAFIYA DOLE has destroyed a Boko Haram Terrorist (BHT) logistics base, along with some vehicles, at Tumbun Sale in Northern Borno State. The operation was conducted on 23 October 2018 after Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions revealed the presence of some BHT vehicles and several fighters camouflaged under thick vegetation within the area, where the BHTs had converged in order to launch attacks against own troops’ positions.

Accordingly, the ATF scrambled 2 Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Alpha Jet aircraft, supported by an ISR platform, to attack the target area in multiple waves. The first wave of attacks recorded direct hits on a suspected BHT ammunition/fuel dump, sending it up in flames. Subsequent strikes also resulted in the destruction of some vehicles and neutralization of several BHTs. The few surviving BHTs, that were seen fleeing the area, were mopped-up in follow-on attacks.

The NAF, working in concert with surface forces, will sustain the tempo of operations with a view to destroying all remnants of the terrorists on the fringes of Lake Chad and other areas in Northern Borno.

JUST IN: Troops of 3 Battalion Repel BHT Attack in Logomani Borno State. Vigilant troops of 3 Battalion of the Nigerian Army at about 11 pm on 24 Oct 18 engaged some elements of BHT who attempted to infiltrate the Forward Operations Base at Logomani on horsebacks. 4 BHTs were neutralized with their horses. During further exploitation, the troops discovered one dead body on a local stretcher hurriedly made with sticks for evacuation. A live horse was also captured. However, 2 soldiers had minor injuries and one member of CJTF had gunshot wounds. Thereafter, a civilian trailer fell into the BHT IED planted to prevent own troops from possible reinforcements. The trailer axle, back-screen and tires were damaged as a result. The Acting GOC 7 Div Brig Gen Bulama Biu immediately visited the gallant troops and commended their gallantry and assured them of sustained logistics and welfare. Pics below.

The flag off ceremony was conducted at Ikang Forward Operation Base, Ikang, Bakassi Local Local Area of Cross Rivers State by His Excellency, the Governor of Cross Rivers State, Senator Professor Ben Ayade who was the Special Guest of Honour at the occasion.

In his remarks to flag off the exercise on the 23rd of October 2018, Senator Ben Ayade commended the professional disposition, commitment and forsight of the COAS especially on his choice of Bakassi general area as a launching pad for this important and timely exercise.

Governor Ayade posited that "the choice of Bakassi is good and thoughtful as there is massive movement of arms and ammunition as well as criminal activities such as sea piracy, kidnapping armed robbery going on in this axis. All these are connected to the activities of Cameroonian Ambazonian separatists which resulted in the proliferation of arms and crimes. He urged royal fathers in the state to cooperate with the Nigerian Army and other security agencies to ensure the success of the exercise which will last till the 22nd of November 2018..

According to him "I understand there are other aspects of the exercise that are intended to achieve excellent Civil-Military Cooperation. I wish to commend the NA for imbuing this exercise with projects that will profoundly impact on the people. I, therefore, urge the royal fathers to cooperate with NA as they are sincere in what they are here for", he added.

Earlier in a keynote address delivered by the representative of the COAS, - the General Officer Commanding 82 Division NA, Major General Emmanuel Kabuk, stated that the exercise is a training period for the officers and soldiers of 13 Brigade.

According to him - "The exercise is primarily a 13 Brigade Command Post and Field Training exercises which will provide an opportunity for officers and soldiers of the Brigade as well as supporting elements from headquarters 82 Division to once again demonstrate their proficiency in the conduct of Internal Security Operations".

General Kabuk further stated that Exercise CROCODILE SMILE 111 will be land and maritime based.

"The land operations will include mobile patrols, snap checkpoints, raids, road blocks, cordon and search and other operations that can enhance the achievement of the exercise objectives, while the maritime operations will address the security threats within the creeks of Cross Rivers State" he said.

He explained the objectives of the exercise to include training opportunities, ensuring peace and security in the state.

According to the COAS - "The objectives of Exercise CROCODILE SMILE 111 are to ensure peace and security in Cross Rivers State and the general Area of Responsibility covered by 13 Brigade. It is also to create a conducive environment for the 2019 General Elections". "To this end, the conclusion of this exercise will kick-start Exercise PYTHON DANCE/EGWU EKE 111 which will be conducted by all formations and units of the NA across the nation in preparation for the 2019 General Elections", he added.
