I'm not here to play politics.I'm only explaining to you why the airport was rated as such.that airport was small and looked old and had even suffered a fire incident some times 2006. then during Gej and Stella Odua time,a contract was awarded for the remodeling and expansion of the airport.because the entire domestic and international wings were closed.they have to improvise by erecting canopies and shacks here and there.it was in that state that airport was rated the worst.also note that the domestic wing have long been completed and in use since 2014 while work is on going at the international wing.

I landed just once in dat airport and I was disappointed at the pig style level I met it.
A year after,it was named the worst airport in d world and it confirmed my earlier stance.
In as much I'm not a fan of our leaders both past and present,Uncle Jona fvck up big time as it concerns dat airport.
Port Harcourt its like the Capital of the Niger Delta were u from but his fight with Ameachi then,blindfolded him as if the land belongs to Ameachi.
To think Patience his wife is from Rivers state and was comfortable seeing the airport rot away,shows the wicked hearts of humans.

Did you ever visit the airport? No. I've been using that airport for years and the only reason that airport was rated worst was because of the cargo collection area that was makeshift at the time because the actual one was under construction.

An Inaugration was done yesterday of the New "Portharcourt international airport" and you can look up for yourself if you choose to and behold the level of Development the Present Government has made visible in that airport. I thinks His excellency, Barr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike deserves some Accolades.

I live in Port Harcourt and i go to this Airport every week.. I am putting it to you that Even the Local Terminal People are attended to under Canopy even before the beginning of the Construction

Agreement was signed in 2013 and all agreed term was met by 2014 with all financial obligations fulfilled. Check your fact again. What you thing should or should not happen doesn't matter. Was all financial obligations fulfilled by last administration? I learnt it was. Correct me with fact and not with your subjective view
