Genre: Drama/ SciFi

The concept of the movie was kinda a little bit original, the acting was on point. Nevertheless, the movie still had plot holes here and there i wouldn't like to discuss for spoilers sake.

You have truly described the movie. This is a movie that was taking me almost 5 days to finish. I always had to pause and sleep off, I managed to get to 1hr+ and it was not making any sense, I just had to cut my loses and delete the movie. Waste of data.

What an entertaining, thrilling, and guilty-pleasure film. Loved it and can't recommend it enough. It's entertainingly violent (emphasis on entertainingly, the violence can get comically ridiculous at times), and very intense. After a good but slow burn first half hour, the film kicked into gear, and boy, did it ever! I was so engrossed that I couldn't believe the damn thing was well over 2 hours!

Characterization was superb. Acting was top-notch, particularly Vince Vaughn (strange seeing him in a tough guy role), He's a cut above the rest. Loved how they keep escalating the stakes on Vince Vaughn character - just when you think he's cornered, he out-thinks and out-fights his opponents in creatively brutal ways. If you're a fan of John Wick, do yourselves a favor, and watch this... you won't regret it.

Low-budget movies are consistently treasure trove of undiluted quality. When there ain't enough budget for fancy graphic effects and the razzmatazz that goes with them, it creates a vacuum, and to feel that fancy CGI-less vacuum, the resourcefulness, the artistry, the creativity and the raw talent of the cinematographers, script-writers, the editors, producers, actors, and the directors, will be called upon to step up, big time.


A well produced low-budget movie is like a black uncut diamond: it's raw, has soul, identity, and gritty in a raw unpretentious way that no refined and cut diamond can ever match.
