martowskin1:A Yoruba man called Prof. Yemi Osinbajo is currently VP, another of our son Rani Fashola is a Super Minister heading three Ministries and several other Yoruba sons and daughters are in this government. What we have gained are listed below. 1. Lagos - Ibadan expressway is 70% completed by Buhari. A road that PDP could not do for 16 years. 2. Ikorodu - Sagamu road upgrade has started. Another road abandoned by PDP. 3. Sango - Abeokuta road upgrade has started. Another PDP abandoned road. 4. Apapa - Wharf road has started, Dangote has done 95% of the part that he is handling while FG us doing its own part simultaneously. Another PDP abandoned road. 5. Oyo - Ogbomoso expressway construction has started. Another PDP abandoned road. 6. Lagos - Ibadan standard rail line has started. PDP never dreamt of this. 7. Just this last week, Buhari got the FEC to approve money for upgrade of the Lagos - Badagry expressway. A road abandoned by PDP in order to frustrate Lagosians. These are the few I can remember now. What else can we ask for? Or should we ask Buhari to give us Gus wife Aisha? |

Igbo presidency is the best for Nigeria. The earlier you give it to Igbos, the better |

Ndigbo fate is in the hands of Athiefu. Buhari and APC will finally give you people an "ASSIGNMENT" after 2019 to help you think deeply on what you really want in Nigeria. As it stand today, Ndigbo do not really knows what they want. There is confusion in their region among the No Leferedum No Erection, Restructuring, Biafra or Death and Athiefu Dollars camp. |

"The National Publicity Secretary of Afenifere, Mr. Yinka Odumakin, in his comment on the issue said, “The demand of South East and South West is that Nigeria must be restructured in 2019. Who cares where the president comes from in 2023 after we have restructured. The various sections of the country will be in productive mode to have time for such shenanigans. What would the Presidency do for the people of any section of Nigeria under the present structure than Fashola’s “achievement” in the power sector." That comment above says it all. The rest spoke gibberish and spoke from the selfish depths of their hearts. That tells you the state of our politics in this country. I stand with the highlighted above. |

Nwaforj44:Sometimes I put myself in the shoes of the SE and I have decided to respect their choice. To choose to be VP perhaps Atiku wins or to wait for 2023 which of course can change to 2027 because Atiku will not run one term. Probably wait to be President in 2023 but Politicians can be funny and change it to VP again for them. May be they should just forget political office but stick to restructuring. My heart goes to you guys from the SE, you shall overcome. |

And that is how fashpla sealed his political fate along with the other political bad markets. We will remind him at the appropriate time. BTW, this statement is unnecessary. The guy is a nobody even in the apc. You don't respond to every dog that barks. Stop giving idiots unnecessary importance. |

But the National Chairman of the United Progressives Party (UPP), Chief Chekwas Okorie, suggested the need for Ndigbo to convoke a general meeting on the issue, stressing that, even though there has been a general consensus that Igbo should be allowed to taste power at the centre, he does not expect it to happen without a struggle.Okorie has spoken with much sense and understands politics, and that political concessions are not given on a platter. |

This people trying to feel like they have faith in today's politics They just dont face reality staring at them, It will be easier for a Cameroonian to become the president of Nigerian than an Eastern man The trend in the political system is to shoot down anything Eastern Hate has gotten them to that podium and cant be reversed anytime soon I just dont want to hear wails about Biafra after their loss cos they presently politicking now |

Jimwalex:What kind of country is this ,how can some people just decide that in a certain year its their turn to govern Nigeria? there are over 300 ethnic groups in Nigeria that have not tasted presidency ,so its not a guarantee that 2019 or 2023 a particular group will be allowed to produce presidency while others are not allowed, restricted or stay on the sideline and be looking, how possible will that be in this current complex Nigeria? if you want the presidency you have to work for it and convince majority of Nigerians that you are the right person or use your influence to get it.We are more than 300 tribes for God sake let stop this " the president must come from my tribe" its not healthy. If the presidency has to go round then each ethnic group will have to wait for over 300 years to get to it's turn. |
