The National Publicity Secretary of Afenifere, Mr. Yinka Odumakin, in his comment on the issue said, “The demand of South East and South West is that Nigeria must be restructured in 2019. Who cares where the president comes from in 2023 after we have restructured. The various sections of the country will be in productive mode to have time for such shenanigans. What would the Presidency do for the people of any section of Nigeria under the present structure than Fashola’s “achievement” in the power sector. |

Igbos are mad! Do they expect the same Yorubas and Northerners they hate to vote for their kinsman as a president of this country? They must be living in sheer folly... Politics is all about Numbers and alliances. If South West is able to play his game properly in 2023, presidency goes to us. Do Igbos expect Yorubas to stand by the side while the rest of Nigeria say Igbo should be made our president? In the North, presidency has never been rotated, it goes to popular candidate. If Igbos have the claws to fight for presidency against Yorubas, let them bring it on instead of wailing as usual. |

Lordofthewest:its not even a threat, it's simple political calculation with regional interest at Heart. We aren't emotional, we are always strategic in our calculations. If some people can be rejoicing on the nomination of obi in their domain and do not want to accept what fashola said, they have serious problem. |

IGBOs appears to be confused, They are not sure if they want Biafra, Buhari, APC, PDP, Atiku, Fayose or Nigeria. I have never seen a tribe as divided, undecisive, Arogant and chest beating cowards like the IGBOs. And oh! i am IGBO too. ![]() |

The SE has a very good political case why it has to support PDP. Supporting Atiku/Obi might just be able to assure an Igbo presidency in 2027. Likewise, the SW has a very good political case why it has to support APC irrespective of PMB's performance. Supporting APC would providr a 95% assurance of power returning to the SW in 2023. What I do not understand is why anyone has to insult the other group for their political choices. Regarding power shifting to the SE, I still can't understand why anyone would sit in their house doing nothing and expect the crown to be given to him on a platter. Political powers in the SW like Tinubu and co have been licking the balls of the Fulanis for the past 4 years for a particular reason. It's even more amusing that some folks from the SE then fling insults at Tinubu and the entire SW for being Fulani slaves, and then these same set of people expect the north to handover to the SE?.... How can the north by-pass the SW that has given it all the support and then handover to it's greatest antagonists and mockers? |

One does not adorn another person's child in beads whilst his own is nakedd. Voting Atiku Obi is not in the Yoruba interests in his view. When GEJ decided to run again northerners cried foul to protect their interests why can't the Yoruba do the same? |

Fashola na who na? If not for the arrangement of Ogbonnaya Onu my brother, who for know them for center. My worry as Igbo man is about all these distraction we see in Igbo land. Some are shouting Atikulation , others are shouting Biafra, some are shouting Nnamdi KANU. Let's leave this Atikulation thing and vote for Buhari. Let him runs his 4 years then we will see. If people like Fashola and his God father shows face, we will dig it hard. Who born monkey? My worry is that the idiot Rocha's will show face to fool himself. No worry guys, no part get this country. Na our country be this. We will dig, smash and enjoy it together if all want it. Stop distractions and stop Atiku things |
