Leicester City players have reacted to the death of owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha in an helicopter crash on Saturday.

The 60-year-old Thai Billionaire was confirmed dead by the club in an emotional statement on Sunday night.

He is said to have died instantly along with four others when the aircraft crashed shortly after take-off in the King Power Stadium.

The club owner's pilot Eric Swaffer, 53, his partner and flight instructor Izabela Roza Lechowicz, 46, and two members of his staff former beauty queen Nursara Suknamai and his assistant Kaveporn Punpare all perished in the fireball.

Goalkeeper Kasper Shcmeichel and a host of players have paid tribute to him.

Harry Maguire wrote: "Words can’t describe how I feel. A truly great, kind, loving man who will be missed so much by everyone.

Danny Simpson wrote: "You made mine and everyone else's dreams come true,' before promising to 'make him proud".

Ahmed Musa wrote: "Someone special, will Not be forgotten, wonderful memories will live on forever, Death can never take a good man away, in the hearts of people he inspired, the legacy remains and continuous throughout generations.

"He was a great man and fatherto many, may his soul RIP"

I thought Nebuchadnezzar is the longest name to be bear on earth.

Rest in peace Sri.......hanap.....ha. You left behind what you will never be forgotten.

He really turned the fortunes of that team around, and was a benevolent and generous giver in the community, wrote off hundreds of pounds of Leicester City's debt, donated millions to hospitals and charities in the community and made 2016 a year all Leicester fans will never forget in history.

The man will forever be etched in the memories of Leicester's fans and the lives he touched.

He will surely be missed.
