I knew these things he's talking about from before Freeze came into limelight.

I have discussed these issue of tithe with a well versed in the Scriptures pastor, and he ended up telling me these things have been like that in the church before he was born, before is own father was born, and who is he to change it even though its clear to him we've bn going about it the wrong way.

When the Jehovah's Witnesses people preached that 25th of December wasn't Jesus date of birth and Christmas has its root in pagan worship, we saw them as Antichrist, isn't it? But look it now, we have come to accept they are right, but we don't want to stop celebrating it cos we are party and merry making people. Pastors don't wanna preach against it for the fear of loosing their strong hold.

One day, these issue of tithe will take a new dimension, I hope we will all be alive to witness it

Yes many of us love celebrations. Celebrating Christmas is a choice, you wouldn't go to hell for celebrating it provided you don't go extreme. But it wiil be stupid to celebrate one's birthday or ,marriage anniversary because it is unscriptural. Cases of birthdays recorded in the bible were bad. Many persons are good at condeming things but they accept half truth.Even those against it because idolatry are more involved in idolatry. They foolishly observe the months of the year forgetting that it is deeply rooted in idolatry. Let's tell ourselves the truth, do you think Jesus would ask you whether you celebrate Christmas or not on judgement day?
It will be stupid to select things that best suit you and leave the rest. Tithing has been there from beginning and would remain till the world end. Those against it should save many of us their sermons and establish their churches.
Let me share with you a true life story of a pastor that kicked against tithing. Pastor Yemisi Adeniyi ( not real name) was all over the internet telling whoever choose to listen that tithing is obsolete. He was able to gather followership which eventually lead to forming a church. His message on giving was "Give cheerfully with a willing heart". The offerings realized from each assembly wasn't enough to cater for administrative expenses. He didn't know what to do as he can't preach to members on tithing. He thought of it then he invited Offiong Anang ( not real name) to sell the idea of tithing. Few days latter, a church service was held when suddenly Offiong started manifesting. She began to speak in tongues and was like a mouthpiece of God that day. She was able to convince the church to pay tithe ". The gullible members fell for her antics thereafter they started paying tithe. Pastor Yemisi was living large. He settles Offiong 10% of whatsoever income the church generates on each gathering. It got to a point that He couldn't take it anymore because his revenue was reducing as a result of the 10% and other expenses. He forgot about Offiong even after she threatened to expose him. It is was time for Thanksgiving. The church was fill to the brim that they hired canopies and chairs. The church service was going on smoothly when all of a sudden, Offiong took the microphone to release the bombshell. This led to the closure of that church in Lagos. The madness of tithing blabla died naturally.
Another group is coming up with similar thing but their aim is to lure men to hell. Going by divine encounters, tithing is one of the requirements to enter heaven. Many persons will not like this but it is what I saw with my korokoro eyes. The judgement throne is very tough and strict. I enjoin believers who care to listen to watch Pst Abraham Yakubu's tape. It is optional if you choose to listen or not.

Vindicated how? If what they discussed runs against the belief of the Church he should be asked to leave.

No formal organization tolerates division.

Would a Zanitb Bamk staff go and appear on Fony Elunelu show, speak against UBE Bamk and expect to remain a staff there?

Abeg the guy should look for another Church where he can practise what he believes and stop all this blackmail.
