They don't delete them, they only get to remove the older once when you reach your message limits... But you can get them back by checking through your offers...

Lion, the guy is not willing to let go and I think you trying to convince him is just a waste of time. Do the needful, return the phones and get your refund.
If he can't provide conversation with the seller, I strongly believe he is hiding something.

Did he tell the police the phones were shipped to Nigeria already? Yes
Did the police tell him to get back the phones from Nigeria? No but the lady insisting all her phones and full refund and they just look for a way to resolve all this peacefully.

Those are the valid questions i asked earlier and Lionlee216 just provided answers. From the answers you can see that CPD didnt ask for phones to be returned cos they believe the matter can be solved without the already shipped phones.

Here's is my conclusion so we can finally lay the matter to a rest

1. Lionlee216 should accept the woman's offer of $200 as the value of the phone and let go of $50 knowing fully well that Ope had earlier waived $50 too.

2. or, Both Lionlee and Ope accept the iCloud locked iPhone from the woman like that and share the loss of $300 equally at $150 each. PS: they can sell the iCloud locked iPhone 8 and share the amount, some people here or computer village always buy them for parts.

In the case of latter, once Ope credits Lionlee with his own part of the agreement, the phones with IBL should be released to him immediately without any further issue.

Lionlee would not say that as people who knows this issue outside here will not same that, His words on commanding IBL to send phones back without reasoning with me was what got us to this level. He came with a conclusion without asking for my opinion or how I feel we can sort things... I won't be replying you anymore bro. When Lionlee contacts me, we shall know what to do.

Read in between the lines here. One of Ope's main concern/issue is that Lionlee authoritatively told him he was retrieving the phones without trying to consent with him(Ope). Hence, Ope feels Lionlee should have asked him first or try to plead with him. Lionlee is at fault here. You shouldn't have told him you'd retrieve the phones regardless of his opinion. That's a man's pride we talking about here. To think that he feels he has already done you a favour by taking off $50 from the initial money. This can be resolved amicably without any third party. Owolabi please let him return the phone so this can be cleared. We are all looking at it from Nigeria and we might not see how much heat or dust has been raised over there.

Guys check the email address you used to register on offerup, you will be able to retrieve past messages even if the offer isn't listed any more. See an example below. Nonetheless, I hope this comes to a peaceful conclusion.

I think if there is no fraud involve with the phone procurement and the Police is not asking for the phones, I really don't see any reason for going through the stress of returning. Returning is going to even in cure more loss to lion or is it there something else I'm missing?

I don't think it's unfair to LionLee cos at the end of the day the both of them have to let go of same amount either $50 each or $150 each... 50/50 no cheating
