Your chances of going to Intelligence Corp is 100%,you will enjoy it more as a combatant, almost half of us was sent to non combat arm,so pray to be shortlisted, those of you that read finance related courses instead of struggling position with education, legal and medical candidates ,its better you apply through SSC and suffer once,
Wow. Thanks kiss
Please what are the criteria for being posted to a particular Corp?
I also learnt that we would be given forms to fill regarding the Corps we want.

I think is wise candidates go for a comprehensive medical check up prior to first shortlistment so that there will be ample time to tackle any unforeseen ailment. Because army shortlisment is like the 2nd coming of Christ, and they might give only 1 week notice to report for interview and there's ain't gonna be time to run all those stuff.

You will be giving choice of Corp forms a week to POP but that doesn't determine, that do it by themselves, most of the people that read financial courses went to finance, people that read micro biology, plant science, bio tech, bio chemistry, and other biological sciences were shared between supply and transport and ordance, while cyber security, international relationships, psychology etc were sent to intelligence, mass communication into public relations and engineers into engineer Corp and electrical And mech Corp, some were even sent to physical training, just manage and make the list

Very good,,IF You are within the age bracket go for ssc because there's no difference in role now, many dssc offrs are in front line now,as dssc you don't write exams hence your promotion depends on your immediate superior and commading officers whereas ssc promotion largely depends on your ability to pass your exams, weather they like you or not you will be promoted but dssc once you are charged and your PER spoilt just forget it.
according to u sir u prefer us to go for ssc if we have age on our side Dan dssc but dey have rank dey are lieutenant and ssc is 2nd lieutenant and we have to wait like 5yrsr to get promoted to lieutenant so sir hw is that advantage

You can treat Hepatitis B now. Go to a teaching hospital. They'll give you antiretroviral drugs.
some will tell me it will go on its own, some will say traditional medicine cures, some say there is no cure at all, some tell me to avoid fatty food and protein only carbohydrate for two weeks. I tried all beginning with abstaining fatty foods and protein for two weeks while taking some medications, still was positive,I got tired and took a break and started eating forbidden delicacies, that's around last year. April this year I tested positive when we went for medical check for my marriage. I resumed aggressively with traditional medicine for about two months May-June this year. Since then I have not gone for test up to today. Early this month I asked a doctor if Hepatitis B has a cure but he said NO hepatitis has no cure, only for me to avoid alcohol which I don't take( I asked him when I went to visit my uncle'a wife who just gave birth at 44baracks). IM JUST CONFUSED,IS IT CURABLE,IS IT NOT,I DON'T KNOW....I DON'T KNOW WHICH ONE TO BELIEVE...PLEASE IF THERE IS ANY HELP,SOMEONE SHOULD HELP,I JUST WANT TO BE CERTAIN IF IT IS CURABLE,I WILL SPEND MY LAST DIME TO GET CURED BUT IF IT IS NOT.....I JUST WANT TO RELAX AND GIVE UP IN THE PURSUIT FOR A CAREER IN THE MILITARY,thanks!

Please I will appreciate your response on this following; A close pal of mine was told he has flat foot during the screening FRSC Job he applied for, of which he was shocked because he never discovered that since he has been pursuing military career. He has applied for this SSC course 45, He is good to go on every other aspects but just the flat foot he is concerned about. please from your experience what's your say on the flat foot as per the SSC screening. ? I feel your pain bro.
I'm also a medical doctor so believe what I'll tell you
Hepatitis B FORMERLY had no cure but I'm glad to announce to you that it now has a cure
Forget about all those food taboos they won't help you any bit
Don't waste your money on herbal medications. They won't make a difference
Because the drugs were recently introduced not all hospitals have them.
But I'm sure of some places
Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) has the drugs. I'm sure of that while I was still there.
Some other teaching hospitals can have. I don't know where you location is so I'll direct you to a closest place
You'll take the drugs for 6 months. Though the virus will disappear from your blood before that time elapses.
So rejoice bro. Keep the dream alive and smile.
Your condition is treatable

You'll spend less than 150,000 naira in LUTH.
But brother be careful o. Don't pay anybody cash o. Make sure you pay to the hospital so you'll avoid stories that touch.
Just go to the GOPD in LUTH and you can get your treatment there.

There are some things you will not understand until you join, but to answer your question, the full lieutenant given to DSSC is because they are professionals and to make up for their pay especially doctors so it can be commensurate with their civilian counter part, they are commissioned with no advantage of seniority whereas SSC has 3 years seniority on the rank, finally, promotion from 2lt to Lt is not 5 years, when you join you will know

Flat foot is a physiological abnormality which can endenger someone life during rigorous exercises especially obstacles crossing,if detected during screening its automatic disqualification but if he can manouvre his way then he is lucky and that means he has to be careful during jumping exercises, goodluck

There no definite arrangement and you cannot predict the army, just be ready so you are not taken unawares when shortlisted, you can be asked to resume training anytime, you can be given a month interval or even a day or two,it can still be possible you resume mid year 2019,dssc pass out by December while sec pass out by March 2020,army can achieve anything if they want

It must not be July, some pass out December, may etc, just count 6 month's from date of training, while ssc count 9,10 or even 11 months from training, they must not pass out with regular but i think since 2015 it has been the norm to avoid the president going to NDA two times in a year.

POP for dssc doesn't need President attendance ,most times the Chief of army staff or minister will go but SSC and RC requires that they fill pass the president or vice president during pop,

can a dssc officer wen converted to drc become Corp commander and can e reach d rank of maj gen....also sir is the current Corp commander for Army Engineering a drc ogficer

what I have come to understand in NA is that you can achieve anything regards a appointment except few positions restricted for combatant (like GOC, COAS, CDS) if you have the right connections and the wit to also play the inside politics, you are good to go.
I personally know of DSSC that converted to DRC who held positions as Commanding officers, Commanders of Corps (Division wise) and also Corp Commanders. if you check the NA seniority role you would see DSSC now DRC as Major Generals and Brig. Gen while a whole lot as Colonels. if you can attain the rank of a Colonel your military career is Very very successful and you can go to your village a happy man. We are even aware of an SSC become a COAS sef
Let's keep our fingers crossed and be hopeful, the fact is once enlisted, not all of us we brandish the One or two star on our vehicles or even be a redneck, the privilege to even wear the khaki alone and be awake for others to sleep peacefully would be enough satisfaction and achievement for some of us. Even when I have age on my side to even apply for SSC 46, I personally don't want to apply for SSC even though I know the long run benefits of SSC, because I am a guy that likes to get dirty as an engineer, likes to wear my overall 247 and resolve critical problems around operation systems of equipments and SSC may most likely deprive me of that if I unfortunately gets posted to a core combat corps. Because I feel this SSC 45 is to fill and meet up with the current security challenges plaguing the country in the NE. I would like to go to the NE but as a support ARM.

All this talk about DSSC, SSC or RC, the bottom line is this "Army is Army" and Nigerian Army is Nigerian Army.

So whether it is DSSC, SSC or RC, join the Army, be an officer.
