Nigerians have requested that Kano State governor Abdullahi Ganduje to resign following the emergence of a fresh video where he was allegedly collecting bribe from a contractor.

The two minutes, twenty seconds footage dated January 18, 2017 and posted online yesterday, exposed the contractors, projects and voice of the purported bribe giver with the governor who was dressed in a black kaftan.

Nigerians ask Ganduje to resign over fresh ‘bribery video’
This came barely a month after two similar videos were uploaded on an online news platform where the governor was shown collecting bribes in dollars and stuffing the cash into his white babariga, but he had denied the allegation, saying the videos were photo shopped.

Consequently Nigerians are calling for Gaduje’s impeachment or resignation even as they charged the Kano State House of Assembly, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and President Muhammadu Buhari to investigate the governor to serve as a deterrent to others.

According to compilation made by The Guardian, Nigerian on twitter have called for the governor’s resignation.
Biola Kazeem said the videos showing the governor collecting bribes on different occasions may dent the All Progressive Congress (APC) crusade against corruption.

Adeyanju Deji in his twitter handle @adeyanjudeji, said:

President Buhari should order a quick trial and prosecution of the governor if his anti corruption fight is not a mere lip service.
Adamu Garba in his verified account
@adamugarba, said:

“The shameful video of Ganduje again. I used to respect him and believed that he has a genuine desire for the people.
“Unfortunately, the evidence against him is so great that the only option left is taking the path of honor and respectfully resign. I feel betrayed”
In his twitter handle @SKSolaKuti, Babasola Kuti said:

“ More evidence of Ganduje’s Greed aka dollar collection operations. EFCC is in a coma till 2019 on this issue.
But the agency was quick to freeze Ayodele Fayose’s account, while he was still governor. Just imagine this was Governor Nyesom Wike, would the EFCC be this quiet on such an issue?

This is why Buhari has to go” AyoBankole, said:

“Anything short of Ganduje’s resignation is a final confirmation of @MBuhari’s accomplice in the criminal dealings that happen in APC.
“To think that the man is a close ally of the President is nauseating. That the President has not condemned this shows the fraud that he is”
However, the governor yesterday commenced the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) agricultural business for small and medium enterprises investment scheme for 5,000 youths in Kano.

The two-day empowerment programme targeted at youths across the 44 local government areas of the state was part of CBN’s intervention scheme aimed at jobs creation and self-reliance.
The empowerment programme is being anchored by the National Directorate of Employment (NDE), just as about 4,500 petty traders received N20,000 each under the state employment initiative to improve their micro businesses.

Meanwhile, attempt to get reactions from the state government on the fresh bribery video clip against Ganduje was not successful.
Several calls and text messages send to the Commissioner for Information, Muhammad Garba, were rebuffed.
Also, Director General, Media and Publicity, Government House, Aminu Yasser did not respond to requests to provide reactions to the trending video clip below:

Ganduje the latest babanriga bullion van dollar bribe receiver crook. The Buhari/APC infested Police, ICPC, EFCC are not willing to do any shit as far as this serious scandal is concern.

"Consequently Nigerians are calling for Gaduje’s impeachment or resignation even as they charged the Kano State House of Assembly, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and President Muhammadu Buhari to investigate the governor to serve as a deterrent to others..."

Both the police and the anti-graft EFCC separately told PREMIUM TIMES on Monday they could not immediately commence investigation into the videos.

So the Kano HOA should do the needful about this man.See zombies avoid the thread too for the plague that it is.
cc; Sarrki, NgeneUkwenu,Deomelo,SarkinYaki, tomakint, Cilicmarin.Meanwhile;

"Like other APC politicians, in a mantra spearheaded by Mr Buhari, the Kano governor often lays claim to own frugal nature and incorruptibility..."

How Buhari continues to support Gandollar is a testament of how Buhari thinks. All his friends are saints and his enemies are corrupt.

Any person who is obsessed with proclaiming his “integrity” at the slightest opportunity but won’t investigate, much less fire, shady characters he has appointed to work with and for him can’t possibly be truly a person of integrity.

From PTF to The Buhari Organization (TBO), Buhari has consistently protected corrupt close aides from the consequences of their ethical and legal infractions.

This attitude of mollycoddling corrupt but loyal aides and appointees while pretending to be a man of “integrity” who is “fighting” corruption is getting worse by the day and indicates that, in spite of self-righteous declarations to the contrary, Buhari is himself morally indistinguishable from his crooked cronies.

It is impossible to deploy the resources of logic to argue that Buhari has integrity. He doesn’t. Well, unless integrity means something to Buhari supporters other than what it actually means in the English language

In View of All This, How Do You See The Anti-Corruption Stance of The President Muhammadu Buhari Administration?

Really, this is a litmus test. If under the APC govt.the government that has been preaching the gospel of anti-corruption, preaching the gospel of sincerity, preaching the gospel of equality, fails to do anything about something of this magnitude, then the fight against corruption is just a ruse really. It is really a dent on Buhari’s administration.

As a responsible administration that is fighting against corruption, he should also institute another
independlent(investigative) panel to find out the truth in this matter.

Buhari is a pretentious corrupt person. Check all buhari's close friends and loyalist from 1980s military regime to his days in PTF and you will see how terribly corrupt they are when it comes embezzlement of public funds. Yet the corrupt fake changers want Nigerians to believe that buhari, a man surrounded by highly corrupt people left and right is a saint.

Caught in such brazen act of corruption yet he's still in office even hiring children to protest for him. Who did this to us in this country? He should have been impeached by now. Buhari's silence over this issue is making matters worse.

Why should he resign. We all enter into politics to make money. As PDP we did worse than this but look at us making a come back and people are giving us support even after we took from them what was rightfully theirs.

They should leave Ganduje alone.
After all it is where a person works that he must eat from.

Inasmuch as we want him out, he is an elected Governor with immunity.
The onus is on him to either resign or the House impeaches him. Unfortunately, the House are also complicit in the bribery allegations as we were informed that he doles them their own share in the largesse regularly.

I suspect he will be on that seat till the end of his tenure and hand over to another on May 29, 2019. However, his political career will be as good as gone.

Nigerians don't resign when they are caught stealing because there is no precedence. We forget that it takes one person to set a precedence. Nigeria is a jungle and there are no rules in the jungle, it is survival of the fittest. Grab as much as you can and northing will happen. Is this not the Buhari we massively voted for in 2015 to save us from corruption? Today even the good luck administration appears to be better. Just belong to the ruling party you will become a saint and can steal as much as you can. It is pathetic.

Another one?
It's like bribery and corruption is in his blood.
Did they swear for him from his village?
It's time to demand good governance. Why can't his state people get on the streets and do a peaceful protest?
Are they happy to have such a man who is obviously only about his own interests to serve them?
The ordinary man is the only one that can set himself free o..
