Thank You, Kakakibuy. You Deserve All The Accolades!! by Uniquewise: 11:10am On Nov 02, 2018 |
This is my testimony. I got in touch with Kakakibuy sometime in July, with a request to buy a truck from Europe. Of course I was a little sceptical at first, having in my mind the dubious nature of some of our Naija peeps. I read through the reviews of a few clients, eventually decided to get in touch with him. We chatted for a few weeks off and on, as I needed to frequently update/change my requirements. He literally walked me through the 'murky waters' of buying and shipping a vehicle, all by myself, from Europe. Kakakibuy's advice to me served me greatly, especially in the areas of knowing who to deal with (particularly which Nationality I should generally avoid), as there are also dubious ones amongst the so-called oyinbo people. He advised me on how to bargain with the sellers so as to get the best out of the transaction. In particular, I got to understand the difference between Gross and Net Price while bargaining, thereby saving me a lot which would have resulted due to my ignorance. At the end of it all, I got a very good vehicle, all thanks to him. I would recommended him over and over to those who want to buy their dream vehicles from abroad. I had asked to send a token of my appreciation to him and he said, the best form of appreciation he would love is for me to bring it here... so KKB, hope this is cool?? Thank you once again Kakakibuy...may your business continue to prosper!! 2 Likes |

freshvine: As you can see from the topic, this was not posted in order to convince you about anything, you are free to believe whatever you please. This is my personal testimony of how I bought my truck and got it shipped from Europe, with Kakakibuy's help. In sharing this, why would I want to disclose what I consider personal to me just to gratify your disbeliefs 1 Like |

Then kakaki should refund my 220k since May. I have posted on his thread and he is ignoring. Most of his clients he does the same with accidented cars. Go to his thread and read well |

Uniquewise: Thank you so much. I appreciate your kind words and couldn't have asked for a better thread. Godson213: What is this? Who are you and what 220k are you referring to? I'll refer you to Rule 8 and advise you come out with facts or modify your posts accordingly. So you mean to tell these group of intellectuals gathered here that you lost 220k in May and we are just hearing about it? You couldn't open a simple thread (My terrible experience with Kakaki) or even send me a message directly? Yet curiously, you just became a member of this forum on the 31st of October? My contact details are public. You better behave yourself. 7 Likes

freshvine: She already did that. She also offered to pay me a token as a sign of her appreciation, and I requested this public thread instead because it's worth more to me than all the money in the world. This thread was opened at my request. 3 Likes 1 Share |

freshvine: I'm sure you must be old enough and sensible enough to know you don't dictate to people, especially those you don't know nor have any dealings with, on how to relate with their fellow humans. My dear, I really don't understand all this your aggression... I stated up there I wanted to appreciate him with a little token personally, but at his encouragement that he would gain more through this medium, so I brought it here. If you have a problem with Kakakibuy, pls go sort it with him, rather than vent your frustrations on innocent posters. From now, I will just ignore you. |

@all others, this is the truck. Pictures are being uploaded not because I care to impress some people with a displaced sense of entitlement...I guess this gesture will further add credence to the genuineness of my claim. So here goes..

freshvine: No worries. I didn't initially set out to do a DIY. I just needed someone to guide me through the process, but as time went on, and I still couldn't make up my mind in time whom to deal with (seller), and this being a special kind of vehicle too, I had to take my time to pray and take many baby steps. Kakakibuy's advise also came in handy. I'm glad it paid off for me in the end. So go ahead. Learn all you can through the process. I am sure you will come through it all with success as I did. 1 Like |

Blast mats with the hose When washing your car, drag out the rubber or carpet floor mats and blast them with the hose. This will dislodge dirt particles that, if allowed to build up, will grind holes in your mats. Let the mats dry thoroughly in the sun before reinstalling them. We don't resell cars for profit . Pay exact costs only!!! Choose a good car insurer Sometimes, no matter how careful you are, disaster inevitably strikes — typically in the form of an accident. Make sure that your car will be repaired to the best possible standard by finding an insurer that will pay for parts from the original manufacturer and guarantee the repairs it authorizes. Change oil frequently Your dad knew that frequent oil changes were key to keeping his Buick on the road another year. And while owner’s manuals for today’s cars recommend increasing long intervals between oil changes, the fact remains — frequent changes flush abrasive dirt and metal particles out of the engine, prolonging its life. Most owner’s manuals recommend a more frequent interval for “severe conditions.” To maximize the life of your engine, follow the severe intervals recommendations, especially if drive regularly in stop-and-go traffic. Don’t fill up if you see the tanker : If you happen to see a gasoline tanker filling the tanks at your local gas station, come back another day or go to a different station. As the station’s underground tanks are being filled, the turbulence can stir up sediment. Sediment in your gas can clog fuel filters and fuel injectors, causing poor performance and possibly necessitating repairs. We don't resell cars for profit . Pay exact costs only!!! Have wheel alignment checked Have your car’s wheel alignment checked every 30,000 miles (48,000 km), or as recommended in your owner’s manual. Also have it checked after buying new tires and when you replace a rack-and-pinion steering unit or other steering parts. Improper tire alignment will shorten the life of your tires as well as cause poor handling. If your steering is stiffer than normal or the vehicle pulls to one side, you probably have an alignment problem. We don't resell cars for profit . Pay exact costs only!!! AC, Car Battery and More, Run your AC in winter :To keep your car’s air-conditioning system fit for the next warm season, run it a few times throughout the winter. This will prevent moving parts in the compressor from seizing. Also, circulating the refrigerant will help keep the seals soft and pliant. We don't resell cars for profit . Pay exact costs only!!! Keep your cool :Check the coolant-antifreeze level weekly that shows on the translucent coolant- antifreeze overflow tank. If low, fill to the maximum fill mark on the tank with a 50-50 solution of coolant-antifreeze and water. Some coolant manufacturers now sell premixed coolant and water for the motorist who wants a quick and easy way to top off. We don't resell cars for profit . Pay exact costs only!!! Seal a leaky radiator :Save the high expense of a new radiator by trying to seal a leak with a radiator sealer, such as Alumaseal from Gold Eagle Co. Available in powder or liquid form, the product circulates in the radiator until it gets to the hole, where it sets up and fills the hole upon contact with the air. Alumaseal may be used to stop heater core leaks as well. We don't resell cars for profit . Pay exact costs only!!!
