A Benue state man, Emmanuel Ochum who had a great harvest from his farm, displayed it on facebook as he thanks President Buhari who advice Nigerians to embrace farming.

He wrote:

Thank you Mr President! I followed your clarion call and went to till the land. This is cassava. God has blessed me beyond measures. It is harvest and processing time in Otukpo.

That's great. But more should be done to encourage many who have abandoned their farms to return.

Also, Governor Ganduje's offer of a mega cattle ranch for all herdsmen in Kano must be taken up, because it will bring stability back to the agro sector.

Those yams are the product of Buhari's words. Mr President, please speak more great words, that the nation may recover.

Another political stunt by a clueless stalwart who knows nothing about farming ,the challenges attached to it and the nonexistent support offered by the government to farmers.

You better thank God you are alive to see your harvest. Buhari's friends didn't invade your farm to kill you, that is big thanksgiving.
