2006-arsenal were finalist
2007-liverpool were finalist
2008-chelsea and manU were finalist
2009-manU were finalist
2010- was a poor showing
2011- manU were finalist
2012- Chelsea were winners

From then on they have been on a slump...Liverpool still were finalist last season..count the consecutive years they reached finals..to you lots football started 5 years ago abi? If anything the epl have been underperforming for a while..the hype is justified because when they get their shyt right they are potential league winners..

The facts speak for themselves. The top 4 teams in Spain and the top 4 teams in England play in the champions league and SPAIN RULES.
Teams placed 5th to7th in both leagues also play in the Europa league and SPAIN STILL RULES. Check the head to head records between both leagues, SPAIN RULES.

The only thing EPL has on La liga is money and and a bigger market. But when it comes to playing the football on the pitch, EPL no follow...argue with your middle finger.
