It's a pity I just came unto this thread. For now let me just read to know the requirements and then proceed with the first step: getting an international passport followed by writing the ielts exam. So help me God. sad

actually the second step should be evaluating your degree. Because this process (2-∞ months average) often takes longer than writing the exam (1-∞ months average). Lots of info on page one of this thread.

∞ is the symbol for infinity.

my dear, I tire for the whole serere o. I sidon de look.

That's almost 3 months booking ahead at Qlife. Meanwhile at IOM, medicals are available at same-day booking.

It was the reverse with IOM Abuja when there was Abuja Clinics. Abuja Clinics walk-in, IOM backlog of appointments.

I called QLife a few minutes ago, they said their earliest appointment is 31st January 2019. I think IOM will then be a better alternative. Someone should please share IOM's mobile number. One of the numbers I found on CIC's website was picked by someone else who claimed it is a wrong number while the other number was not available. Thanks for helping smiley.

Help...I've been suffering in silence cry

Has anyone else been having this issue when logging into their GCKey?

It lets you log in but doesn't let me proceed...all I see is "sign out". Tried using another browser and clearing cache. After some days I eventually can log in but it happens quite often and I haven't seen any tweets on down time.

Morning people.

I just realized that I will need WAEC/NECO if I need to upgrade my credentials to course-by-course for licensing purpose. Can I use WES USA course-by-course evaluation for this purpose in Canada?

I have both WAEC (Two sittings) and NECO (one sitting), which one should I evaluate because I don't know why SSCE is being requested for by WES?

I can easily get the WAEC sent to WES cos I have family members working there but not NECO.

I'm landing in Canada in few weeks' time and I want to get it sorted before I leave.

Kindly advise pls

For Q2, I don't know if the fact you didn't make all your papers once matters. But to avoid stories, you can use NECO, the process seems simple too, you can search the thread for the process.

For Q1, you can contact WES or maybe the licensing body.

Contact WES US and ask them to transfer your file to WES Canada.

Evaluate only your WAEC (since you've a contact there) if WES Canada asks for it.

If I may ask, what's the essence of evaluating SSCE? Is it to know if you attended secondary school or for something else? What's the evaluation outcome for SSCE

What makes the degree evaluation take so long?Is it provision of transcripts by the relevant authorities?

WES never made it clear. But some folks assume it has to do with date of birth issues on transcript from school.

Please do the sessions hold in other locations outside lagos?

dumprep:
Yes, both primary applicant+accompanying spouse and dependents can attend.

Copied from their website, they say - "Each eligible principal applicant, spouse and adult dependent wishing to attend Planning for Canada orientation sessions must register individually.

Once you complete your registration, you can continue registering other eligible family members who plan to attend Planning for Canada orientation sessions. A button will appear to bring you back to the registration form page."

25th Jan? I feel like booking down medicals earliest date for family of 7 just for the fun of it. Because I'm sure that's what people are doing now.

Won't be surprised if agents have also started taking up slots so they can resell for a fee.

Patience.
Takes about 3-5 business days before WES changes your status.
