The Benin monarch is not one of those you are referring to because if you know how deep and painful the issue of stolen artworks is to the Binis, you will then understand.

We all know if given the opportunity, Prince Charles will NEVER come to Benin City to meet with the Oba since he knows he is a direct descendant of the thieves who came to Benin in 1887 to steal and plunder.

If I was the King of Nigeria or even Africa, I will leave my palace to meet with the thief, who is a major power in the world and plead with him to return my goods, since I know I cannot fight him. Can Nigeria military fight the UK?

So, please I see no reason why you would group him with other Obas.

Looking at the sitting arrangement, it is possible the Buhari Admin must have requested or directed that the Oba's chair be far from Prince Charles' because they fear any embarrassment, so whoever made the sitting arrangement put his chair far behind.

Please note that when it comes to the issue of stolen Artworks, it is like catting an arm of the Benin Kingdom, which will never heal until they are brought back.

I believe you should join in the campaign to bring back the Artworks and make your voice heard. When Nigerian presidents go to London, have you ever heard any one of them talk about the stolen Artworks? They left it for the Benins alone to do the wailing!

The Oba and the rest the fall hand reach ground joor, But on the other note shebi they say na Benin be head quarter for witches, wizard and Iyara abi na wetin they call am so they no fit use am fight Prince Charles collect their Property back. Africa and black man is very over rated. na to dey kill ourselves we sabi.

The heavy show of ignorance in dis thread by the same so-called Nigerians, just makes it clear dat the situation of the irredeemable conundrum they have found themselves as an amalgam of confusion by the Brits, is purely their making, that is still telling on them till today with no end on sight.. Blind ppl, they definitely deserve d kind of country n leadership they get...when the British came to this part of West Africa, how did all dis tribes exist? Where is d peace, n respect for kingdoms, ppl thrones,. The backbone of a ppls identity?.. What have d almagamation added differently as a value to u dat common man? are British not seeing the chaos, injustice, the same ppl who reel out statistics of ur poverty level, d looting diverted to dia u.k banks, kept safe by dem for ur looters, till questions arise..?. Did prince Charles ask Buhari of the killings of ppl in Benue, n what have been done for repose? did he ask about Leah shahibu?.. That man came to see how his animals in aso rock is tending to his farm.. I bet u those monarchs are of no importance to him as soon as his hitting d runway back to Buckingham palace..of what importance do u lots think u are to prince Charles as citizens of Nigeria, scattered like dis in a con-joined Madness, they have cynically created with the aid of certain criminal farce elites. Look at those so called mornachs, whose seats traditionally in d old comes with an aura,..supposed figure head of various protectorates n valued culture, all seated like school boys...there is a whole lot of meaning the O.p has pointed out in those pictures alone, but u ediots as usual, wld only fight him, n stay ridiculed by d farce almagamation u defend..NOW TO MAKE IT CLEAR, AS THOSE MEN IN THE NAME OF MONARCHS ARE SEATED THERE, THAT IS HOW NIGERIA AS A CONUNDRUM OF CONFUSION SHOULD BE SPLITTED BACK AS PROTECTORATE, RESPECT OF YOUR FORE-LIVING AND COLLECTIVE EXISTENCE AS TRIBES BROUGHT BACK, EVERY ONE FEND FOR THEMSELVES AND COMMON BOUNDRY, SELF DETERMINATION OF ALL REGIONS AND PROTECTORATES, BRING BACK ORDER AND RESPECT FOR THE STOOL, ITS PEOPLE AND THEIR RIGHTS.
LET THEM GOVERN THEMSELVES IN COMMON INTEREST, AND STRIP POWER FROM THE CENTRE, THE COMMON BOWL WHERE ENGLAND COMES TO DRINK THEIR BLOOD....AND SEE IF EVEN QUEEN OF ENGLAND WOULD NOT TAKE HER TIME TO VISIT THESE KINGDOMS, IF SHE TRULY HAVE A GENUINE INTEREST, OR SHE BECOMES SELECTIVE OF THE ONES SHE VISIT, THEN WE KNOW WHERE LOYALTY LIES, TALK NOT OF PRINCE CHARLES..
NIGERIA HAS NO BUSINESS CORN-BEEFED IN SUCH DISFUCTIONAL WAY, WHICH THE BRITS ALONE ENJOY WITH CRIMINALS IN GOVERNMENT CORRIDORS,..COUPLED WITH AN INSANE AND RIDICULOUS CONSTITUTION RIDICULING IT FURTHER.. UNTIL U LOTS BECOME DRASTIC AND TRUTHFUL WIF YOUR THINKING, U ARE ALL JOKERS... GHANA IS FAR BETTER THAN THE CRAZY SHIT-HOLE OF AN AMALGAM IN THE NAME OF COUNTRY U FIND URSELVES.. THINGS HAS SINCE FALLEN APART AND D CENTER HAVE NO BUSINESS HOLDING AGAIN.., HENCE NIGERIA GETTING WORSE, N STILL GETTING WORSE... BUT U ALL HAVE CHOSEN TO LIVE IN AGGRESSIVE BLINDNESS AND WICKED DENIALS,.. LOOK AT UR KINGS...

I'm afraid i'll have to agree with you!

Traditional rulership in Nigeria has been reduced to nothing but a joke and a parody of what it used to be!

Imagine so called first-class traditional rulers rushing to Abuja for a photo-op with the heir to the English throne! Now if it had been the Queen herself, i would have understood. But Prince Charles!? [/quote true talk

Must you losers always compare and live your pathetic existence according to other people?

I don't ecen get he silly comparisons with different events, different settings and visitation with one individual and multiple individuals in one single location instead of traveling to every state, and city to visit each traditional ruler in Nigeria.

This is exactly what professor Adesannmi said in one of his facebook post.
His mother is their equivalence not Prince Charles.
And it's a same Oba of Benin whom it popularlyn said 'e no dey go tranfser' indeed tansferwd himself to meet a lower person in his status.

And sadly, most youths of today still suffer from this mental slavery.

In Nigeria, we have some many important traditional rulers unlike Ghana where the Ashanti empire represents supremacy. So Prince Charles clearly wouldn't be able to visit each one in their Royal Palace like he did in Ghana..... Xaos said it all
If kings are are truly valued by Prince Charles, he would have visited them in their respective palaces. Most kings in our times are just 'errant boys' to politicians. Note that Alaafin and Awujale were not there. Both of them respect themselves.

When did i say UK needs to save your life from poverty of mind you're battling? For all I care the prince is the head of common wealth community of sovereignty.... If you are any intelligent (which I doubt) you would know list of raw materials and skilled man power Nigeria can have trade advantage with. Or you think 2.3m barrel per day would continue feeding 200m people?

No two cases are ever completely the same; as each must be considered on its own merits and demerits to achieve set goals.

Social media: where everyone (without much experience or research) is an authority, has an opinion that must be heard, and thinks he’s the smartest!!! Sighs!

The other time, Oba Adeyemi III was hanging around the palace gate in London taking pictures.

Which king will he visit to leave the other...in Nigeria each town have a king..another population census may count them upto 100K. Thats why I like Edo state...one king one state...where the king has powers over the governors sef. Forget this thing Igbo people they fool themselves..each family has a king.
