2. Question not clear, but you can use 2 or more NOCs.
jaybaby2017:
Good Morning House..Thanks for the Great job been carried out here.. Please I would like to ask the experienced in the House some questions?
1. Can you change your Noc when you are already in the Pool?
2. Can you use a Noc that you have worked in before or must it be your present job?

Thanks for your usual response.

If you are yet to submit you aplication, ensure you make your personal history factual and complete as possible.

Okay, thanks. I'll list it as self employed/side hustle in my personal history. I just hope it's okay.

Decision to travel August 2017.
Family of 5
Visa office: initially London, moved to kyiv in August.
IELTS: September 2017.
My IELTS was written once and was perfect 9,8,8,8.
Spouse IELTS 7.5,7.5,7,7
ECA: Masters Nov 2017
Entered the pool Dec.
ITA January
AOR January 17th 2018
Medical Passed Feb 11th 2018
IP1 Feb 12th 2018
IP2 Feb 27th 2018
Then silence. Not even a single ADR.
Ordered 1st GCMS notes April 2018 everything looked perfect.
Then complete silence.
Ordered 2nd GCMS notes July 2018, this never arrived
Wrote Raplh who confirmed Eligibility and Security not yet started.
More silence, not even a ghost update
October 3rd 2018 ordered 3rd set of GCMS notes. Arrived Nov. 1st. Still same as April notes. My file had not been touched since March 2018. Eligibility and Security not yet started.
Wrote a 3rd mail to Ralph on Nov 4th who was gracious enough to respond (Ralph responds only once). He confirmed that my eligibility and security was not yet started and my application cannot be expedited.
Nov 8th, like a dream ! my PPR!

Checked email and profile this morning and saw nothing.

By 2pm during my lunch break, I saw a mail notification, I wanted to ignore but decided to check.

I saw a mail from donotreply@cic.gc.ca that I have an update on my profile. I was excited, that finally I am getting a ghost update / adr.

I logged into my cic acct and saw my profile was updated. I was so excited, thinking it was just a ghost update and that finally my file was receiving attention. I wanted to log out but I felt the nudge to proceed and click on view complete application which I did.

Nothing seemed to have changed, my background check was still in process, I was about to log out again, when I felt that urge to scroll further down to the mail section.

I saw I had a new mail, titled request letter. I already concluded that it was an ADR for fresh bank statement. Love and behold, it was the almighty PPR.

I wasn't expecting it to come without an ADR for updated POF since my application had been pending for almost 10months. I lost appetite immediately, and was was just screaming. I couldn't share the news with my colleagues, so I just lied to them that my husband got a new job!.

I am immensely grateful to God Almighty who did not put me to shame. Delay is not denial. Though it tarries, it must surely come.

Thank you all for all the love and support.

Off to take my pictures and submit tomorrow.

This year has been so challenging. hubby and I lost our jobs, all our money tied at POF, we were feeding from Hand to mouth and struggled to pay school fees. Infact this September, we had to change their schools to a very cheap school.

God bless you all.

Then sings my soul, my saviour God to thee. How great thou art.
“For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.“
OMG!!! Im excited on your behalf. I was gonna respond to your message this morning telling you to hang on but got carried away with work saying just an Amen to Tojued’s prayers only to log on later on this evening & seeing this. Woohoo. Thank you
Thank you for sharing your story. This is super inspirational and will enable others forge on. God bless you & yours’...x

Hahaha. . . If it makes you comfortable, go ahead and raise CSE. But I don't think this will have any effect on your application.
CIC is fully aware that side hustles are commonplace in Nigeria, as reflected in some applicants' GCMS notes. They have also described some cash inflows into applicants account as "other sources probably from other businesses as commonly obtained in Nigeria ".

Please go and read Joo2018 posts from this morning before you insist that your opinions are facts.

My personal advice to anyone yet to submit application : be as transparent as possible. Leave nothing out. It will save you a lot of sleepless nights during the wait.

You can never understand how unnerving this wait is until you join the league. Then imagine being worried about misrepresentation on top. Lol

Anyway, life na per head. All na still advice.

Congrats @melaninpopping, go and prosper. Hope say the cold no go make your melanin fade sha grin

First off, I am girl. Lol

The interview was extremely difficult. I plan to write in detail about it cos I don’t think we have a wealth of information on interviews here. (But I can see why we don’t. It was harrowing and I don’t really want to discuss it in detail- at least till my PPR comes). Major issue identified was that she didn’t believe I had actually worked as a psychologist during my NYSC, she said I could have been a receptionist. Regardless of my BSc and MSc in Psychology from two goo Unis in the U.K., my reference letter and bank statements showing salary payments. I sha tried to convince her.

If Ralph said all my assessments were passed, do I still have something to worry about?

Hello love. Chin up and hang in there. You are def gonna come back here with good news. You’ve come this far. If Ralph says all assessments are passed, imo i dont think you should be worried about anything else besides the final decision. Keep being positive & optimistic...x

Help...I've been suffering in silence cry

Has anyone else been having this issue when logging into their GCKey?

It lets you log in but doesn't let me proceed...all I see is "sign out". Tried using another browser and clearing cache. After some days I eventually can log in but it happens quite often and I haven't seen any tweets on down time.

Sorry to ask again.....but please has anyone experienced this? Called the helpline but they say that are only able to help with username and password issues!

Spouse ECA done and dusted!

MSc Ibadan and had to also send in WAEC result.

It came 6 days ahead of the scheduled date for completion (14th November).

I actually DM'ed WES on Twitter explaining to them the need for me to get the assessment report before 10th of November, in preparation for the possible draw on 12th or 14th of November. The response was - No, we don't expedite result. I thanked the handler for the response and that was it.

I was pleasantly surprised to get the report this evening, 6 days ahead of schedule. I know someone on this thread mentioned that the report comes a few days ahead of schedule. For example, I got mine 2 days ahead. I'm just curious if the request via twitter had any effect, although I seriously doubt it.
