Thing is, since we returned to democracy, we have become a tribal people.

Solong as the person being sacked is being sacked for 'speaking for Buhari', buhari opponets would be happy. The same thing if it is an Atiku supporter sacked. ....people who support Bubu would be glad.

In my opinion, we should not be sacking workers for their political

HOWEVER...we are not hearing the whole story. For all we know, his sacking might have had nothing to do with his beliefs.
Thank you, what you said is correct and factual. May God bless you. Not all things should be seen in political prisms. It's a dangerous route, if allowed to be followed politically, because their would be massive sacking because of political affiliation. Anyway, there are so many side to a story. Lets observed.

You want me to curse you abi?

Have you ever seen me condemn any APC chieftain or outfit for sacking any PDP apologist?

Don't let me curse you.

When he bits the fingers that feeds him.

I don't know what abokis see in PMB other than wickedness.

Even abokis working in Atikus organization are still supporting PMB.

For what? No answers.

I should ask you. It's simple to decipher, even to the unlearned...The press who changed and rebranded buhari's dirty and tyranic image of the 80s, up to the Chatham house in the UK where he said to the entire workd, that he's now a reformed democrat...The same press are now against him... quoting from the post ''
Mr Baba-Ahmed was co-agent to President Buhari during the 2015 elections before defecting from APC to PDP'. These are the guys who worked tirelessly for buhari in kaduna, convincing the electorate that he's a nice man. Now, her defected to the pdp and doesn't anybody close to him to have anything to dobwotj the apc... Now you're asking me cpap.

As highly criminal as drug dealing is, a vice which i strongly detest, It is better than getting killed like flies for rituals as is common in yorubaland.

In ibadan alone, there are thousands of ritual dens right up to UI.

Resignation should be willful not forced.
The mass media should be seen as been fair to all,not one sided. Assuming, Atiku is refused access to NTA,VON,NAN,RNNS...etc which are the largest network medium in the country, then what will be your take?
Or their staff been sacked for airing the opposition's manifesto/achievement...!

Does Atiku, PDP and opposition have access to NTA, VON, Radio Nigeria?
Can liar mohammed the minister of misinformation give Atiku and PDP access to campaign on NTA and other national media outlet that Buhari and APC have monopolized.

Never sad about that because his employer just use by God to give him more lucrative secure job from FG...

That won't stop BUHARI from defeating PDP and Atiku in 2019.
Re: Umar Ridwan Sacked For Supporting Buhari by seunmsg(m): 9:31am On Nov 09, 2018
He was sacked because of a facebook post and some people are rejoicing over it? shocked shocked shocked shocked

If Buhari is to sack every Federal government employee that criticizes him, what will you people now say? Evil is evil irrespective of our political biases. When employers start sacking employee over social media comments that has nothing to do with the employer, there is a clear breach of freedom of expression and it is a serious threat to each and every one of us.

Honestly it is a very touchy subject matter. Where does privacy begin and end. Where does public responsibility start and end. Footballers are sanctioned when they post erring mesages about politics, the game, their clubs, team mates and coaches. CNN recently sanctioned a correspondent for disparaging comments about Presudent Trump on his personal social media page.

In the corporate world the spokesman of Samsung cannot be caught dead or alive using an Iphone or a manager in Mercedes Benz driving a BMW. Do they not have personal liberties. Of course but cyberspace projects part of the personality the employer compensates when he pays a wage so he has part control of what is put out by the person involved. Every employer has a code of conduct that controls everything from dressing to mannerism.

What he should do is either remain anonymous or move to a media house that is pro his views. For instance you cannot work on Chelsea tv as an open and brazen Manchester United fan. You cannot work for Dove tv as a practicing Buddist and you certainly will not last in Fox tv if you are a card carrying liberal democrat. His boss moved to the PDP in an acrimonious manner. What did he expect.

ok sir, Wiseman calling somebody a fool. Your rude comment is a clear proof of your upbringing. May God forgive those journalists and press that painted buhari as saint before 2015 elections. Now they're realising their mistakes. The journalist who exposed ganduje with a video where he received millions of dollar bribe must have repented from supporting a failed leader and party

You are correct about a brand and marketing strategy. But a radio/TV station should be seen to be fair to all.

He's a media personality. They are meant to remain neutral even on social media cos people that know them will inadvertently take their opinions as those of the group they represent or work for. It thus becomes very bad if their views contrast greatly with those of their employers.

No doubt but in this case,it's because of a post on his Facebook page. Anyway, he has his political affiliation and he's a voter, and in such cases issues of interest is there.
