even with rooting, theres no way. android 9 pie is adopting d horizontal recent bar, so, hopefully, an xposed module will be created to make it possible.

Yes I used SD card. I don't understand what u mean by internal shared storage. But I changed my storage location to SD card.

this is what i meant when i format sd card as internal,it joins the sd card with the phone storage to become one .like phone storage 4gb and sd card 16gb becomes 20gb which is necessary because my phone storage was low due to the game files stored in it ,so i got a 32gb sd card but if i put like game obb data in the sd card and install the apk it won't play because it doesn't detect the obb data on sd card only the game data obb stored in the phone storage
But my problem is that if i format the sdcard as internal storage it becomes like this in screenshots 1and 2 and everything works fine for a while but later some of my media files automatically get deleted like videos and some other files too,pls any solution ?

Pls screenshot yours from ur file manager and settings let me see how ur own look s like and how did u change ur storage location to sd card
