With The Topic Below Which Shows That Falz A Lawyer Himself Hired Another Lawyer To Make A Case For Him https://www.nairaland.com/4836639/falz-files-court-papers-challenging I Am Curious To Know What Happens When A Lawyer Happens To Have A Personal Legal Case. For Instance Maybe A Very Good Lawyer Happens To Be Sued To Court Or Maybe He Has To Sue Someone Or An Organisation To Court, Will He Be Allowed To Defend His Case Or Is It Mandatory He Gets Another Lawyer To Make The Case For Him? . . . Let's Hear It From Our Experienced House. |

Yes. It is done on earth as it is in heaven. Because on the last day, we will defend ourselves by ourselves in front of God for every deed, word and thought. 10 Likes 3 Shares |

Yes. A lawyer can represent himself on the claim of affordability or any other silly reason. Just so you know, a person can stand for himself in the court if he feels he can handle his case better 4 Likes |

Good question. Short answer is 'no'. It's against the ethical rules of professional conduct to defend himself/herself in these kinds of situations. In law practice, the above is justified, because think about a situation where a lawyer (representing himself) has to be cross-examined. Would he now de-robe himself to enter into the dock and afterwards robe himself? Naah! |

Chrisjordan2015: Lol...bro, you got it wrong sir. A lawyer doesn't robe if he's representing himself and yes, he can represent himself. 1 Like |
