All the cameos Stan Lee made in his glorious and fulfilling career. I can't believe I didn't recognize him in about 50% of his cameo appearances.

Stan Lee, the guy that created Black Panther, Spider-Man, X-Men, Thor, Iron Man, the Fantastic Four, Hulk, Daredevil and Ant-Man, among countless other characters has passed away peacefully at the ripe old age of 95.

A tiny bit of trivia: the first Spider-Man trilogy (the one with Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker) was Stan Lee's favorite adaptation of his work, and he endorsed it with a memorable cameo.

The man lived a long, full and very fruitful life. I hope I will live nearly as long. He may have died, but his legacy will continue to live on through his many iconic creations.

Rest in peace, you creative juggernaut.

Of course Tobey's Spiderman would be his favorite.
Not the dry stand-up comedian we have today running around playing dress up cry

Tobey Maguire is to Spiderman what Heath Ledger is to Joker.

Of course he would praise him.
Do you expect Stan Lee to talk bad of Tom Holland undecided

But Tobey was his favorite, his favourite adaptation of Spiderman.
That is the point.

He echoes the sentiments of not just me but the majority of fans as well.

Tom Holland is a stand up comedian playing around with sophisticated tech. His jokes are not even funny sef undecided

Tobey and Garfield are miles better than that boy.

And yes, Tobey's Spiderman 2 is the greatest marvel film ever produced.

Say the truth and stop sucking Tom's amu unecessarily.

I'm 100% on board the Indiana Jones remake train. The franchise is dated, and a fresher perspective wouldn't hurt. Besides, Chris Pratt would make a great Indiana Jones. He has the personality to pull it off.

Pirates of The Caribbean reboot is merely a fatalistical rumor. A reboot is not gonna happen... at least not for the next 10 years. A franchise has to be dated and a commercial failure to warrant a reboot. and we all know the franchise doesn't meet any of these criteria: it broke several box office records during the course of it's run, and is still fresh in our minds. Nah, the possibility of a reboot so soon doesn't add up. It's not feasible.

I just heard that Hollywood is remaking Child's Play too.

Still think remakes and reboots are not bad news

It's very unfortunate that Stan Lee is dead.

Will we ever get a creative genius like him again.
Cuz it's very obvious that Hollywood of nowadays lacks creativity and brilliant original ideas sad

It's always remakes, reboots, Comic book and novels adaptations....nothing more.

I don't know why those writing the cartoons can't write the movie. At least they need their input. This cartoon made so much sense. The heroes characterization, story line and the fight. I recommend it.

I hope you're not referring to Tom Holland, cuz, he's by far the most realistic Spider-Man adaptation till date. Stan Lee had no issues with Holland, but with the directing and scripting.

I never said movie reboots aren't bad news. I specifically stated that before a movie can be rebooted, there are certain factors to consider, which are, legacy, period (timeframe), and box office revenue. Box office revenue x period is inversely proportional to legacy. As period and box office revenue prolong, the legacy invariably lessens. So, in order to keep the legacy alive, and also have a crack at a more positive box office output, a reboot will necessitate.

A Child's Play reboot can be a positive if done right. The legacy is all but dead, thus, breathing new life into the chronicles of the killer doll, Chuckie, will give the newer generation a fresher take on the story, and also revive the memory in the minds of the older generation.

The earth is filled to the brim with creative geniuses. He will be missed, but let's not kid ourselves that he's unique.

Overboard 7/10.

Finally, a comedy film this year that made me laugh multiple times. Tag and Game Night tried, but apart from one or two scenes, they failed to me laugh hard. Tag was particularly poor in the humor aspect. But Overboard had me in stitches especially the Spanish spoken scenes. The Spanish guys had me ROTFL whenever their part came up.

Identity 8/10.

The last time a movie had similar theme and kept me in suspense, guessing who might be the killer was in Mindhunters, one of my cherished movie. It felt like watching Mindhunters all over again. Once the first murder happened, I didn't take a break till the movie ended. The twist at the end shocked me just the way the twist of The Others did. I never saw it coming. It had me speechless for few seconds. Psychological thrillers that are well written are hard to come by these days and are collector's item.

First film off Koice's list, the list looks promising already. I think I'm going to watch all the movies in that list.

Identity was a much better cinematic adaptation of Agatha Christie's "And then there were none" than Mindhunters. It did it's own thing, kept the audience guessing all the way, and didn't particularly end in a happy note. It was ruthlessly cynical. Kinda a mindf**k too.

@ beorn is it the identity where 12 people where together in ONE place( get my meaning). Watched a movie like that some time ago might need to refresh.

The current Spiderman is the best o it of them all. Firstly Spiderman is very young, almost childish. His speech and expressions are exactly how I expect him to be. So my vote goes to Tom.

Now to the beef of the day.

Shane black should be flogged like an escaped slave. The travesty called predator was a complete waste of time.

The entire movie is one of cliches, the actors explaining the entire movie to us cos we won't get the story if we aren't told. What are the odds that the genius kids dad is the protagonist of the movie.

The lunatics just continued the groove till death, the scientist that was over sabi and the bad guy cooked right out the recipe book of cliche bad guys. Over confident greasy piece of shit.

Had to copy the Apollo creed arm.chop scene with the scream of pain. I quite expected someone to rub mud all over himself at the end. And there was no chopper to get to ( lol). The CGI dog was wack.

The most annoying thing was the actual storyline WTF.
The end was so annoying. I guess predators have faced aliens now it's to have a terminator type end of humanity movie involving predators. They rhyme too so worth the heck.

Watch out for part 2.

P.s key abi peele which everyone that guy is should stick to his comedy skits.

This movie was a complete waste of time. Don't bother if you haven't seen it.

3.5 / 10
Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by armadeo(m): 12:14pm On Nov 14, 2018
Men Hollywood has really insulted the predator. They should have left Arnold's own and let it end there.

So last night I saw the crazyrichasians. It was fair. Had some laughs. A reversed coming to America kinda movie. Good stuff though.

Having read the books so many characters where pushed to the fringes of the movie despite thier impact in the book. All in all well it was nicely done.

6.5/10.

Regarding your post on Predator, oh boy, you dey vex o. grin grin

The movie was very average with a boring storyline but I didn't envisage anyone will get pissed off so bad by it. LOL. Instead of doing justice to the legacy of Predator, they ended up trashing the movie.

I almost watched this movie in the cinema. I would have bitten my fingers if i paid 3k for this. It was wack B grade sci-fi movies that should have been direct to DVD or made for tv.

The annoying part is the fact that they plan to make more movies as follow up.

The Incredibles 2

The feminist was again written all over the cartoon only a blind person won't notice
1. They portrayed the woman to play the role of the guy in absurd manner and succeeded while the man failed in playing the role of a woman, which was unnecessary and unrealistic

2. They potrayed the male charcters as flawed while the female character as unflawed and perfect species of human, You can never find a moment when a woman made any error in the cartoon, all errors were made by the men

Stupid and dumb feminist cartoon
