So sad that Nigeria Police alwys rescue these bastards when they are about joining hell, but can't stop them before their nasty activities, they chased the vehicle to the crushing of an innocent pregnant woman and now rescued from being lynched. All these criminal collection of revenues in Aba and Onitsha how has the funds been used to better the tax payers? Aba is still living on the dustbins , Onitsha is known to have the worst roads and dirty streets. I advocate for jungle justice to these criminals contracted by these useless governments in the South East / South South CRIMINAL governments. RIP to the dead.

I second you sir. Even though what the thugs are doing is illegal, the driver was wise not to run. The risk is too high as the driver may survive the accident but kill innocent people.

I don't wish death on anyone. But it's high time those truck drivers started killing their pursuers maybe, these rubbish will stop.

A pregnant woman and one other passenger have died in a truck accident in Aba after revenue officers reportedly chased a truck, which then ran into the commercial tricycle conveying the passengers.

The Revenue agents were reported to be working for Aba South Local Area Council and had earlier stopped the truck driver who refused before they engaged him in a chase.

According to reports, the pregnant woman and a passenger in the tricycle died on the spot.

It was learnt that several other passengers who were injured in the accident are battling for survival in a government hospital after being rejected by a private hospital because of the degree of injury that they sustained.

The revenue agents in a move to escape the wrath of the people – dived into the Waterside River, luck however was said to have ran out on one of them who was apprehended by some of the onlookers that chased after them.

It was gathered that the timely intervention of a police team prevented the irate crowd from setting him ablaze after giving him the beating of his life.

10k is too much sef... Probably the stupid chase was because of 500 or 1000 naira.. So Saddening... I jus hate the Nigerian system aswear..its an evil instrument for killing of destinies,destiny suppression, destiny hindering etc... Nobody deserves to die like this in any responsible country. I weep not only for the pregnat woman but also for all nigerians who face one danger or the other in their daily hustles.
When people surrender their ability to defend themselves to a Government, the least they expect is to die in the cause of providing their own daily needs.
The Foundation of any great country is enshrined in the santity of Life, rule of law, and the provision of basic amenities for citizen's survival. No one deserves to die in this manner.
