A thread was on front page misleading people that Governor Ganduje bought over 100 buses for use by Buhari for his campaign.

This news was not properly vetted and ended up on front page.

The truth is that these buses were bought by Yakubu Gobir of Kware state as his personal donation to the Buhari/Osinbajo campaign for 2019.

His tweet about this which clears the air is attached .

PDP is notorious for false news and they never disappoint when it comes to this. They were behind the earlier nonsensical misleading claim about the GOBIR branded campaign vehicles.

What's amazing is that people clearly saw the GOBIR written on it yet still chose to continue peddling lies simply because PDP said so.

Raise up your hand if you actually believe Ganduje would own up as the supplier of those vehicles.

There's a reason Buhari filled all top positions in NNPC with his Fulani brothers.
When Atiku becomes the president next year, e go sweet to see Gandollar and his cabal behind bars.

What is this man worth, as what does he do for a living to justify having such amount to donate and what's the connection to have donated this volume to Mbuhari's re-election? We are talking about N5bn and 200 buses here!

In Canada where I live, public donation to political campaigns are limited to a certain amount (somewhere around $1,000 per individual, I think). Going above this amount is assumed to go against public interest in any campaign. So I ask again, who is this man?

I checked him online and saw nothing tangible to justify the amount involved as a free-will donation. Going by what he claim to be, “I am a Kwaran, a Technocrat, Pharmacist by profession, a businessman, a family man, a good husband & a politician.” One man suddenly became everything to justify a political driven donation?

I mean I have nothing against donating to a government he supports. But if we do not worry about one single individual donating such amount to support a political course then we obviously ain't ready to liberate our country yet. A man who gives up this much must have something to reap from our collective treasury.

Note, my post has nothing to do with Ganduje or whatsoever. I am just being a Nigerian.

There was a time when I rely on nairaland to get updates on news, real story! But now all nairaland do is post fake news from unverified sources. The mods are not in any way careful in what they dish to the front page....I have seen so many fake news on front page.


The owner of this forum should call all the mods to order, otherwise this forum will not be taken seriously on anything they post. Also the number of kids in this forum is superseding the mature ones, something should be done fast .
