Too much of everything is bad. But apart from the odor, the pepper taste when you chew and diarrhea when you eat too much of it, there is no serious side effects.

so I started chewing garlic recently because of all the benefits I've read about.
I try to eat in the evening when I dey house,lick honey after chewing,so I don't smell of garlic by the next day.

No oh. The honey is just to sweeten the mouth after chewing.

The only way you can reduce the smell is when you eat it at night before you go to bed so in the morning you freshen up
