Yes, why would any bank allow people to open a bank account without face-to-face interaction?

However, I do know of a number of family members that opened a US bank account with just a visiting visa.
I've opened almost all my accounts online even when I was on student and work visas . Who has time to go camp out in a bank? It was so irritating wheni had to open Nigerian accounts. At least Wema now has completely online with Alat.

What kind of lies are you spreading? There are no lines at banks. Branch banks are micro much smaller LOL because most things are online. People still shop, dine out, meet and socialize. To suggest a person has to "camp out" to open a bank account is not only a lie but intentionally misleading. Why do you do this? There are some lines at the Dept of Motor Vehicles, the bank, no. Why these lies?

I don't know what Utopia you live in but here in Houston, there are lines ESPECIALLY if you want to open an account SMH.

There is a reason I have avoided responding to you all this time but since apparently I'm a liar I will respond. I have not told a single lie in over twenty years. I'm not scared enough of anyone or anything to warrant lying and I don't take any actions I can't admit to later.

In our last encounter I found you to be myopic and rude and you just displayed those qualities again in this encounter. Kindly refrain from responding to anything I say in the future. There are a lot more people for you to spread your hate to.

I have never seen a line outside of bank branch in the USA ever. Every person lies about various things.

Well I don't.
That tells me a lot about your morals. Again, please don't talk to me.

You reply to me asking that I don't reply to you. What kind of a double standard is that. You want to dictate to me and suggest I can't reply to you. There is no issue in the USA with long lines and waiting at bank branches in the USA.

If you have seen a queue inside a bank, she's right. There's no where she mention "OUTSIDE". If you can open an account online, why would you want to normally go in branch?

Okay I’ve never seen a line OUTSIDE any bank, except of course for ATM.

But long lines INSIDE Bank of America and Wells Fargo is why I ended up at a small credit union where there’s zero line inside.

We have to consider neighborhoods too.

Yeah, Madam never mentioned outside.

I have accounts with Capital One and Discover banks. I opened and transact all online and have never stepped foot in a branch.

Lots of people open accounts online. I did with TD and Ally. Originally there was a question about what non citizens can do. Various banking laws changed with the Patriot Act. I have a checking account with Huntington and when I have go into a branch there is never more than a few people in line. And the employees that help to open accounts usually have private offices, never a long wait. Even when I take documents to get notarized never wait long.

Believe me it's not easy. I do get tempted but then remember that in the grand scheme of things it's too much effort to maintain a lie and not worth it. People that know me will tell you I've warned them that if there is anything they want to do that when asked I would have to lie, don't do it in front of me because I will not lie for you. I tell my friends I'm a snitch. Maybe that's why I have very few friends grin

The most I will do is refuse to answer instead of lie.

So Mexico citizens, some anyways, are fighting with the migrants.

The border is now a militarized zone.

It has started, sooner than I thought. Much sooner.

PS: In 2000 or thereabouts, the artisan working on my house admitted to me that he was an illegal alien. BUT he would go to Mexico with his entire family and come back in using Coyotes. Those days are gone.

Hi everyone,
It's been a minute just wanted to jump back in.
Question for the IT gurus in the house.
What do you know about Sales force and your opinions of it? It seems to be trending now and the pay seems to be really good.

https://www.businessnewsdaily.com/10778-salesforce-certification-guide.html

Sales force holds the gold medal when it comes to customer relationship management (CRM) products. You'll find Salesforce products and services in use across a wide swath of industries, from automotive and healthcare, to nonprofits, retail, media/communications and finance.

Initially offered as sales automation software, Salesforce is now best-known for its Intelligent Customer Success Platform, which provides cloud solutions for sales, communities, service, analytics, marketing, platform, apps, the Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence. Like I said, asylum is part of the purpose of the United States.

"The 1965 Immigration and Nationality Act states that any foreigner who arrives in the USA, "whether or not at a designated port of arrival," may apply for asylum. But on Nov. 9, Trump tried to overrule that law, signing a presidential proclamation ending the ability of migrants to request asylum if they enter the country illegally."

"In court filings, the ACLU argued that the asylum restrictions represented a direct challenge to the clear intention of Congress when it passed the 1965 Immigration and Nationality Act. It also cited a 1951 United Nations treaty signed by the U.S. that says "refugees should not be penalized for their illegal entry" because extreme situations sometimes "require refugees to breach immigration rules." "

Hi everyone! Happy Holidays to all who celebrate!

I need some advice from the IT gurus in the house.
I recently have redirected my attention to more entrepreneurial efforts like getting my real estate brokers license. I'm also wanting to get into business data analysis. I've only heard of Salesforce certifications. what other programs or certificates can I get to do data analysis? Links would be helpful. Thank you

You’ll need to have good knowledge of statistics and MS Excel for a start. Have you completed your business degree? That will be useful too. Check this introductory course on udemy.

R, SPSS, Minitab or Stata would be more useful than Excel for data analysis. Two statistics related degrees talking

Yes, but the learning curve though.
R is free I think? She can probably start with R after excel.
