. All football games are always different.. D fact say we waya pipo wey waya them 8, 4 no mean say we suppose waya them 10.. For d just concluded world cup.. We waya Iceland, Argentina draw Iceland, Argentina come waya us.. Hope u understand me? grin grin
bros the argument and point here is we are not playing well, Argentina has no reason drawing with ice land and they only won us due to tactical error of rohr. If they played well the only team they shud draw with is Croatia. Do u expect man city to lose to fullham? Answer is no. There are expectation for teams that's bcus every team has a standard. If we shud go by ur excuse then we shouldn't be complaining abt Man U performance this season, after all in ur words football no be 1+1 lolzz

I blame our coach for this encounter. If Ihanaco had been replaced with Isaac Success on time. We would have won the match.

So our boys just landed yesterday, no wonder they played like that, NFF needs to make concrete arrangements next time.

Nope a draw was fine for a qualification to the nations cup.

If he had done this in the world cup, we would have qualified for the second round.

unfortunately they won't write any shiii cuz we got useless people at the helm of affairs in this country

The referee and his assistants should be queried after this match.

The two offside decisions against nigeria were very poor officiating. I expect NFF to write a letter of protest against the referee and his assistants.

Nawa for this linesman o....

Thank GOD say we no lose the game. He would have been ban for life for that terrible offside call....

But on a personal level am angry we didn't win cos we didn't punish them for they did to us back in Nigeria.

Stop been disrespectful to Iwobi. One match play and below par does not make him a useless player. He is a world class player.Did watch the match at all.

Not a fan of the coach but lets be honest,in the last few years, this is the best the national team has been playing for a while.as someone who grew up watching the 94 eagles, these bunch do give me some confidence though they could do better
Remember the days when we used to play 'the hopeful long ball'. (Between 2007-2014)
Things have changed a lot since then. Then we hardly got goals away (be it Morocco or Mozambique) let alone win away.

My only problem with Rohr is that he doesn't seem to change or adapt his tactics to the current matchplay.

You 'scored' against the run of play. South Africans deserve the win, they are more cohesive, fighting for the ball and giving proper decisive passes, they hardly lose possession. They just don't have dangermen and finishers.

Nigeria deserved to lose this match. If Iheanachor the waste pipe goes to cameroun in 2019, he will be a big embarrasment. He shouldnt be getting call ups anymore when we have better players like Paul Onuachu.

Going on with the full throttle in that blazing heat and high altitude is counter productive.

Oga I never blamed iwobi! U quoted the wrong person
Re: South Africa Vs Nigeria: AFCON Qualifiers - 1 - 1 (Full Time) by jtwest(m):
uhm as much as I am optimist, we have to admit this SE still has a long way to go. i'll give u reasons:

1. the midfield couldn't control the game, the effect that the likes of mikel, jayjay, ndidi has; to hold the ball and let players move into channels, ogu cannot, etebo is a runner, iwobi is ur diagonal and thru pass outlet. we need our pirlo.

2. Nacho cannot lead the lines for SE unless we learn to dominate and control the pace of the game. he needs to hold off defenders and shield the ball while wingers and iwobi joins in attack.

3. the defenders needs to learn to play ball and not gift possession to opponents. they also have to learn to track run from the deep.

4. there are notable absentees in this match but it seems SE doesn't have bench, who remembers the days when Utaka and kanu will come on and change the whole match?

5. rohr may be sound in man management but tactically his backroom staff are doing horrible job, when it comes to pitchside management, they can't identify issues and tweak the tactics to adjust it.

6. Am I the only one who doesn't know Nigeria's style of play? sometime it's counter, sometime it's possession football, sometime it's Everton style. Nigerian football fans deserve better.

7. After Victor moses's retirement, the attack has been a little blunt, threats from wide areas has dwindled, the only outlet is musa, almost looking like no one on the other side. backroom staffs should have identified this and fixed it.

8. Today SE played for draw, the got it, job done, congratulations. but someone needs to remind them that when we play countries like SA, Ghana, Cameroon, Senegal, Ivory Coast, its not just about the points, scoreline matters; games like dis are national statement of superiority, u don't play for draws.

anyways congratulations, Afcon Cameroon is set*

This is the best coach so far. Nowadays we qualify for tournaments without any heartache.

this is a FIXED MATCH. Eagles score 2TWO clean goals n de say offside. If anybody use my kinda VAR eyes u'll see dat b4 d game, VICTOR IKPEBA "CONFIDENTLY" said dis game is 1-1. Mind u this is nt d first time he's doing dat. Does it ring a bell? Okay look at d bets market specifically d available ones. Over2.5(see odds). Bet9ja n their family(others) is a scam.
