Op, what is your own with this muslim and igbo issue. Can't you leave them alone? You have opened almost 10 threads on this issue.

I hope there is no problem?

The handicapped, the albino, the osu, the female child dispossessed of inheritance, the deaf, igbo muslim....

What ties these categories of society together? They are victims of discrimination in their society.

Shame on those of you questioning my voice to speak on this topic. Someone even asked if Im igbo muslim, and how many times i will open thread on the subject.

Do you know how many threads are on the forum about Jubrin from Sudan? Perharps the people that opened them are Sudanese.

Islam has been in Iboland as far back as 1958. We are in 2018, sixty years past, and they are not even acknowledged at all. There are Igbo muslims that studied in Saudi Arabia, in Egypt, in Sudan, can read the Quran in Arabic. Igbo muslim population is in thousands. They are mostly based in Afikpo and refuse to locate elsewhere in Iboland because they are persecuted. They do not self identify in their homeland in East for fear of bein targeted. Isnt this another case of human rights abuse like in case of osu or girls who are denied rights of inheritance?

Once upon a time handicaps were not acknowledged in mainstream society. Albinos were viewed as a blemish of culture and condemned. Deaf could not live a productive life. Traditional rulers gathered recently to end osu caste. Supreme court has ruled in favor of the female child to inherit her father.

All these victories and breakthroughs were possible because the victims cried out and good men and women in society added voice to their cry and raised the noise unti it caught attention of policymakers and the law was written that gave them recognition.

Igbo muslims have been crying out to their fellow igbos and nothing was done. Now they are crying out beyond Iboland and they ask for help. We will raise our voices and we will make the noise to support their cause. Not everyone is called to join the cause, drop off if it irritates you.

Lastly, to the mod that restricted my capacity to open new threads and post new topics, please rethink. You cannot stop the noise; the train has already left the station.

Where in the North or Moslem countries is open conversion to christianity of indigenes allowed. It is heresy and punishable by death. The right of anybody in igbo land is exclusively for them, if fighting for anybody is your concern show that from example with what happens to indigenes of Moslem communities who desired conversion to Christianity

We didnt go looking for victims of discrimination in Igboland. The people themselves put their plight on newspaper, on social media and said "help us".

I'll put a challenge to you. Bring out the cries of the victims in North lets make some noise about it.
