Finland application portal opens next month....so guys as you run around for your application materials, dont forget to obtain our original driving license from Naija...U nor go wan come Europe come pay 2k euro on top driving school....As funny as this sounds, you might not even be considered for many jobs because you do not have your own car and a license....

And for how long? (I know Nigerian National Driving license is accepted)

Wolt is like Uber, only that you stay in the city centre where there are restaurants and then deliver food to offices, homes etc.....It is a sweet hustle particularly if you understand the system and timing. My friend is a part time MBA student, so he is not restricted....I came here with our original naija licence and drove for 6months without any crash or issues, then changed it to Finnish own for a paltry 50euros

Okay, thanks for your reply. You know we have two different Naija license; Local one and International one... Please what do you know about the Naija International driving license? Is it also acceptable in Finland? I’m sure you must have used Naija local license to change for Finnish license. But I want to know about the International one if it’s acceptable

Wow. I just learnt a lot from this thread. Am planning to go to Norway for my undergraduate program. All this is happening so quickly. Deadline for submitting application into Nord University is 1st December. I don't have a passport yet. Am wondering if I get my passport before the end of this month and submit it to them. Can I still make it? I will be heading to the immigration office to apply for a passport on Monday.

Just try your best and be quick about it...when you get to the immigration office, shake body wella for them make your passport fall out sharp sharp...Again, do you have your English test results? Have you sent your applications to the school in question?

I think that should also suffice....but I am not 100% sure...It was the Naija local license I used sha, and also I dont know anything about the international license

According to the admissions guide for international students, they stated That Nigerian and other west African countries can submit their Waec Result (which I have).

I haven't submitted the application yet because they need my passport to be among(which I don't have yet)

Application rounds open next month, get your english tests, transcripts sent, motivational letter, CVs, scholarship forms too...When you get admission, next thing is to transfer your fees to Finland, then they will send you an acknowledgement letter from the bank, which you will use for the embassy visit...When you get your RP, you come to Finland, start making friends on the study in Finland thread here on nairaland, you must not have anyone here....I prefer Germany over all three countries obviously because they are a powerhouse here in Europe, Norway is too damn expensive unless you are loaded to the teeth, but I will put them in these order: Germany, Finland, Norway....
