I should be driving from Onitsha to Calabar in two weeks time. Please which of these routes is the best considering road condition and less cumbersome:
1. Onitsha-Owerri-Aba-Ikot Ekpene-Calabar

2. Onitsha-Owerri-Umuahia-Ikot Ekpene-Calabar

3. Onitsha-Ihiala-Umuahia-Ikot Ekpene-Calabar

4. Onitsha-Enugu-Afikpo-Ugep-Calabar

Onitsha - orlu - umuahia - ikot ekpene - itu - calabar.

Shorter with better roads.

Onitsha -ihiala- orlu- Umuahia- lkot ekpene - Itu -calabar is the best route with good road and will be less cumbersome and safer for you

There is little bad road between Ihiala-Orlu, but it is drivable now that is dry season.

Between Nkwo Idemili and Amaebu is bad bruv, especially rainy season.

onitsha-ekwulobia-umunze-ibinta-okigwe-umuahia-ikot ekpene,from Onitsha to okigwe is smooth,arondizuogu spot is tarred now and transporters are now using it to Onitsha from calabar and beyond.

moderately busy still a new road many people not known its been built,transporters use it any road u see them that is the shortened route.
