The Bible still remains the same 66 books, 39 we're written before the coming of Christ and 27 after His ascension to heaven. About 40 writers were employed by the Author who made them write information that's beyond their understanding!
After the last book was written, Bible scholars decided to compile all these little books in a single volume, that's why we're having the Bible as a book today. But sadly translating has caused a lot of problems because during the translation of these books misinformed persons included the ideology they believe in the Bible making it difficult for later readers to get the message as initially presented by the writers.
One instance is the title "God" while the writers made no distinction between one God or the other, the interpreters decided to render other Gods starting with small letters "god" making it seem like the title God becomes a name when it's written in capital! Moreover the inspired writers used names to distinguish between Gods but the translators uses title Lord or God in capital in replacement of the name of the Almighty God. Therefore names of other Gods appear in the Bible but the Author's name disappeared!
So it's critically important to first read about the translators and their translations from the opening words of each translation before completely relying on it!

You appear not to have heard of the council of Nicaea.
Read about it here. It might change your views and enlighten.

So how many little books were compiled to make the Bible?
Re: Which Version Of Bible Is Your Preferred Choice? by Dantedasz(m): 3:34pm On Nov 07, 2018
At Nicaea, might was right and those priests favoured whose books were favoured by the Roman Emperor Constantine had their books approved and inserted in the Bible while those priests whose books were not favoured by the Romans found their books declared as blasphemy. Such books were banned and all copies burned by the Romans.
So the books that made it were strictly under Roman approval.

73 books exactly as we have it in the Catholic canon was canonized at the council of Rome 382 CE.This resolution was further ratified at the synod of hippo 393 CE and councils of Carthage in 397 CE and 419CE

I would advise you to be civil when discussing with me. Nobody has a monopoly of rudeness.
I ask you if Arianism had triumphed at Nicaea and if Arianism had not been declared as heresy and the books destroyed, what would have been the fate of the concept of the trinity in Christianity?

What's the revelation of truth about?
It revealled the creator of the universes, the creator of Yahweh, Allah, Moloch, etc. It reveals the present state of Yahweh and other gods of religion. Behold, many gods of religion are currently in spiritual cages.

The canon of the Scriptures was never mentioned at Nicea. That church council is one of the most documented events in Christian history and none of the historians or church fathers ever reported a discussion about the Christian canon at that church council.

The christian canon of the scriptures was not discussed at the council of nicea. This is a historical fact attested by countless patristic writers. The agenda were stated below

The agenda of the synod included:
1.The Arian question regarding the relationship between God the Father and the Son (not only in his incarnate form as Jesus, but also in his nature before the creation of the world); i.e., are the Father and Son one in divine purpose only or also one in being?
2.The date of celebration of Pascha/Easter
3.The Meletian schism
4.Various matters of church discipline, which resulted in twenty canons 1.Organizational structure of the Church: focused on the ordering of the episcopacy
2.Dignity standards for the clergy: issues of ordination at all levels and of suitability of behavior and background for clergy
3.Reconciliation of the lapsed: establishing norms for public repentance and penance
4.Readmission to the Church of heretics and schismatics: including issues of when reordination and/or rebaptism were to be required
5.Liturgical practice: including the place of deacons, and the practice of standing at prayer during liturgy[

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Council_of_Nicaea

The major reason for that church council was resolving the arian controversy. The council did not produce any canon of the scripture. In fact it was decades later long after the deaths iof Constantine and major actors of the council of Nicea was the canon of the scriptures decided at Rome 382 CE,It was later re-iterated by later church councils like Synod of hippo 393Ce,Council of carthage in 397 and 419CE

Kings James is not the first version of the Bible and there is no version of the Bible called Catholic. I suppose you are referring to the complete Bible with 73 books against the incomplete ones with 66 books
the complete one is called goodnews bible

Happy Sunday
There are many versions of the Bible
King James
New King James
Revised Standard
Amplified
Catholic
New Jerusalem
And many others.
Which version do you use.

I use King James. I think it's the first version
I plan to read the books in the Catholic bible also
for study I use the new Jerusalem Bible, it links the entire Bible and helps me study a verse in context, added to the fact that it is complete, if I run into any problems, I take the duoy Bible, it is older than the King James, Vulgate based and renders it in the sense it has always been understood in the church, the only problem is that it has archaic English... I also use the community Bible for clearness in languages and the African Bible because of course its African in perspective.... if the issue is too thorny I look for a concordance and try my hand at the original language

You have started mentioning me this evening. When I respond you will retreat to your safe haven of Catholicism and start telling for moderators.
If you can't take the heat please don't venture into the kitchen.
Were books regarded as unfavourable to the Romans and their favoured priests burned or not? The Bible as we have it is made up of books accepted by the Romans. Pagan festivals were converted to Christianity festivals by changing their names.
Please I do not want to argue with a person who starts a discourse then runs away to reappear weeks later.

I have never ran from you, sorry dear, I have had the pleasure of discussion with more convincing people and I still stood my ground. if there are days intervals in my response its because I didn't have time to write.

as I said, the canon of the Bible was never discussed in the council of nicea, no book was added or removed from the canon, in fact the canon of the Bible didn't make it to the agenda, it is either you are mistaken or ignorant.

secondly after the council the heretical writings of those condemned e.g Arius were burnt, those had nothing to do with the canon, Arius didn't have any canonical works.

nicea didn't discuss any pagan festival either, it seems you are generally ignorant about this issue.

Hmmmmmmmmmm that's interesting, but why is it that the Catholics have failed in all the facets of what is expected of the followers of that guy from Nazareth?
They're into politics!
They're into racism!
They're into image worshiping!
They're into interfaith!
They're into polygamy!
They're into Apostasy!
I suppose if the Catholics have the TRUTH, they should know better. Perhaps the remaining seven books found in their translation of the Bible wasn't part of the ORIGINAL inspired writings from the TRUE God, who impacts HIS own people with wisdom. Certainly those seven EXTRA books were added, thus the curses for those who makes any addition is what is tearing the Catholics apart till today!
For your information, all the religious groups claiming Christians today including Islam deserted the Catholic Church even though they're all having so much similarities with the Catholics, except just one group! None of those things mentioned is found amongst the ONE and ONLY group that belongs to Jesus.
