servercodes001:Why must there be uniform development in a country? Where on earth have you seen a country with uniform development all over the country? I no blame you, northern soldiers proliferated myriad states in northern region through which north siphons oil revenues to the north. What has north to develop uniformly with the south of Nigeria with oil and close to the sea? You come here to talk bunkum of uniform development. |

How can we ever get it right in this country the majority of the masses cannot correctly figure out what's the actual problem we face? Some leaders have now come and distract us with restructuring mantra. Just to shift focus from their horrible performance over the years. Any Governor who doesn't perform now blame it on restructuring. How does restructuring stop public office holders and administrators from abusing their office? How does restructuring restructure the brains and hearts of our leaders? Is it not still Nigerians that'll operate within the same federalism? So magically, all our problems will automatically vanish just because we practice true federalism? How does restructuring holds governors accountable they performed poorly? how does it magically make them perform better? Most of all, we all know that the average Nigerian is habitually selfish - which to me, is the root of all our problems - so, how for God sake, does restructuring transform selfish men into selfless men? How? football formations matters little if the players to execute them are mediocre. Man city are not the only team who knows how to play with 4-3-3, it just seems like they're the only ones who always win with it |

Even as at now there is no unviable state. If all houses pay ground rent in any state, it will run into billions of naira per month, that's what they do in lagos |

Abjay97:All these will amount to total rubbish with the low ebb of discipline in our society. We must purge ourselves of impunity, inefficiency and the high tendency for abuse of public trust which is endemic in our society. It is the people that make a system work. |

servercodes001:The wealthiest countries of the world have no crude oil. Only thing that revolves in your mind is that your state can't survive without crude oil from the Nigerdelta. Fallacy. All you stated above are exactly why states must depend on what they have in their grounds and immediate environment to begin to develop their states and their people, not depend on resources that come from other states for development, because they told you we all have a country, Nigeria. War?? Continuing the present system where revenues are collected by Abuja and shared to indolent people who do not want to think and work, but pray from morning till night, that's a recipe for another way in Nigeria. If the war comes, Oyibo can't help you this time, because Oyibo has seen the donkey years of unjust system visited by Nigeria upon the oil producing areas. Oyibo had seen how oil revenues are used for donkey years in building modern infrastructures in northern Nigeria which adds little or nothing to Nigeria's coffers, while the area in the south where oil revenues come from is starved by your almighty Abuja federal central government. Think how you can use your brain to create wealth and help to develop your state, not depend on oil revenues. |

mrvitalis:My own definition of restructure is let every regional look after her own people who cares what's gonna happen to one state that can't funds herself after all we are different people with cultural, languages, etc. |

servercodes001:Uniform development?? If your family lands are naturally endowed with plants that produce expensive fruits, but my family land does not have plants that produce expensive fruits, with the proceeds from the expensive fruits from your family lands, you develop your family members, send them to better schools around the world must I force you to share the proceeds from the fruits in your endowed land, because we belong to the same village? Never? The better alternative is for me to think out of the box to find other legitimate methods to generate wealth to build my family and its people, perhaps better than you, as time goes on. These indolent people are rewriting the laws of nature in Nigeria, because of crude oil, because Oyibo created and protects one Nigeria. |

servercodes001:Enemies of Nigeria reform. The benefit of restructure outclass the problems you listed. More-so decentralization of power is what most successful countries are practicing including Dubai. State government along with good policies, the people must work hard and stop been lazy and under develop. There is no free money anywhere. Please for better understanding restructuring is a process and not a decree. The focus is lets make Benue, Taraba and others to develop like Lagos and to do that state must be competitive to derive and attract that internal growth to unable them pay salaries and others independently. Just discover what your state can do better and develop it. We must support it sincerely. |

Abjay97:Some states cannot pay their workers despite federal government intervention and u r here telling us that restructuring will work for us. Federal government is helping many states, if we restructure 9ja many people will die of hunger. Restructuring will make some states richer while others poorer. We r not ready for it. Restructuring is only good for developed countries not developing countries.
