Well, in this case if withdrawing your application will give you peace of mind and ensure you sleep peacefully at night.

Then by all means please do. After all, only you know the grey areas in your application.

No need to develop high blood pressure cos of canny waka o smiley
Zutlin:

I can only assume you don't know about AVO. If you belonged to a VO where many people are about 1year post AOR and interview dates takes 4 months to receive, you would understand why I feel the need to withdraw and try again before my IELTS expires. If you belong to a VO where even after one has done both interview and DNA testing and passed all since 3 months ago yet there's nothing but deafening silence from Accra, you would understand how serious the matter is.

If you belonged to AVO and you're over 6 months yet your file has not being touched and those with AOR before you have being told by the VO to look forward to early 2019, you will definitely become as restless as I am.

From my tone it's clear that I'm down at the moment. If you can't be helpful or comforting, please just let me be rather that make annoying assertions.

Good morning house. Please i need advise on application for express entry.

I am married no kids, age 30, i have a masters degree and 6 years working experience. when i put in my info on CRS calculator my score is 473 without my husband accompanying me, and 453 if he does without English proficiency exams but includes his BSc. My questions are

1. Can i apply alone and later include my husband before living Nigeria?
2. If i have to include him, is it a must he writes language test?
3. For reference letter, do they call the number on the company's letter head?
4. When i resign from my current work my gratuity and pension covers the funds required. how do i go about POF?

NB: Please kindly advise on best options, regardless of my questions above.

Thanks

1. Bad choice
2. He must not write... But it's easier for him to write than for u to get ECA for his credentials.
Also he doesn't have to score as high as u in d English proficiency exam.
3. Its u r not using a genuine work reference letter stop d tot.
4. I know someone who used his gratuity written out by the issuing body and bla bla.
Note that ur pension is just 25 % accessible

Your initial post sounded as though you had uncertainities with entries regarding the duration of your employment hence your fear and wanting to abort your application.
Once again i did not mean to upset you further bro

Your IELTS is locked up after eAPR Submission - so no worries

Medicals if it expires that you can re-do

I have read and heard the issues with AVO and i cant assume i know what you are going through but oribibe ko ni ogun ori fifo - cutting head is no cure for headache.

Just hang in there my brother. I dont mean to offend you as you can see if you open heartedly read my comment.

Please hang in there I know you maybe plan to leave before certain days but how sure are you it wont come back to AVO.

Its tough i agree but please hang in there

Morning people...congrats to all PPR clinchers...pls are therw instances where a visa ofc approves an app and another visa ofc triggers PPR mail? I put a call across to cic yday and spoke with an agent who told me my app has been approved in ottawa and that they hv alerted Accra to let me know when/and the details for sending my passports cos i am outside canada...anybody encountered such situation?July 19th AOR,ip2 Nov 8th
Are you sure the PPR mail is not already gathering dust in your inbox or spam?
Go and search thoroughly O. Also sign in to your account and check your messages there, some VOs send the PPR letter to the CIC account (though Ottawa is not known for this).
If you've checked all this and are sure PPR is not yet sent, then relax, it will come within days
Congratulations

Hello Good morning @ here, Just a quick question and help for a confused somebody(me). I work as a web development tester but not a web developer but I have the skills to develop a website (HTML; CSS; Javascript) but have a management background ( BSc economies and MSC innovations) . is it ok for me to pick that as my NOC if I can get my employer to include it in my work description as it was started in my offer letter that I work in the web development department.
Thanks am open to your comments..

Loads of June applications are stuck in this stage, I guess they've started doing same to some July. 1P1 is completed in Ottawa, IP2 is triggered and carried out in Sydney. File is approved in Sydney and sent to an LVO. Your PPR mail is now sent to you at pace, capacity and discretion of your LVO.

IP2 means sent to Sydney
Ghost update means file approved, probably transferred to LVO.
It's a new trend so we're still trying to understand it.

Go and check out your July AOR group on canadavisa forum to find out if more people are in same situation.

What is a good salary in Canada?

If you can make $18/hour as a single person working full time, that’s a good salary. If you can earn an average of $60,000/year or $5000/month you will live a solid middle class lifestyle. If you have kids and a wife you’ll both need to earn $60,000/year each to have a solid middle class life. 2 adults earning $60,000/year provides a monthly after tax income of approximately $7852, and that will be it..you’ll make too much money to qualify for any family allowance.

What’s a middle class life? a comfortable 1200/sqft home built in the 80’s mid market type home. 2 certified used vehicles (A dodge caravan 2 years old with 30,000kms for example). You can expect to go on a nice all inclusive vacation once a year, have comfortable money to spend…you can save for retirement and all the nice things the world thinks living in Canada entails.

If you’re a family making a combined total of $60,000 gross annual ($30,000 per adult) or less you won’t likely be able to afford a home in the city but very likely in a smaller town (1500 people or less). You can still find homes in the $50,000 range in these small towns but the trade off is you won’t likely find much in the way of good paying jobs. You won’t be driving NEW vehicles but likely used vehicles 4 years old or older with over 80,000kms. You won’t have money for carribean vacations but you’ll likely be able to get away to camp or something for a week in the summer. Your life won’t be comfortable and there will be times that you have trouble meeting your monthly payments. Your monthly family income after taxes will approximately $3926/month and you could expect about $600/month in family allowance from the government if you have 2 kids.

If you earn a combined family income of more than $180,000 ($90,000 a year per adult) you will have a nice comfortable life provided you don’t over extend. You can afford a nice cabin at the lake, a large new home ($500,000 range), 2 new vehicles of almost any type (Denali, SUV, etc) and you won’t need to worry too much about watching your pennies although you should. Your combined after tax income at this rate is $10,100/month and that will be all, you make too much for any government programs.

If you don’t have a university education and if you don’t have a trade it is very unlikely that you will ever earn $60,000/year. Half of Canadians earn less than $35,000/year.

Do Not believe the statistics that the average Canadian earns $51,000/year. A very large majority of people make WELL below $51,000/year. I live in a city of 51,000 and the average wage is between $12.00 and $15.00/hour. Something to think about…If the average Canadian makes $51,000 why is there so much push back against a minimum wage of $15/hour? According to the statistics every Canadian already makes $24.50/hour ($51,000/year) so a minimum wage of $15/hour should almost seem like an arbitrary number. The reason of course if because MOST Canadians make less than $15/hour and make MUCH less than $51,000 year.

Is there anyone interested in sharing cost of DHL for AAT verification to WES? Canada post is on strike and it will be a risk using NIPOST for now.

Please quote my post.
