Prof. Itse Sagay (SAN), Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Commitee Against Corruption (PACAC), on Wednesday said that the claim by former president Goodluck Jonathan that foreign investors have fled the country since President Muhammadu Buhari took over is false.

Speaking with Daily Independent, Sagay said only corrupt foreign investors who hugely benefited from the corrupt administration of Jonathan fled the country having realised that it is no longer business as usual.

“There are some investors who only operate in an atmosphere of corruption. They have nothing good to offer Nigeria. All they want to do is just to loot and entrench corrupt practices with the assistance of officials in government whom they have bribed.

“So, it is a company of corrupt people, both foreign and local who operate in those circumstances. You must have heard of illicit financial flows. That was how it happened.

“They cooperate with these foreign investors to loot the country of her resources, inflating their costs and at the same time reducing the amounts they are to pay so that at the end of day, they leave the country with a lot of resources and underdevelop the country and get away with it.

“Only investors of that Ilk can say they are no longer coming because we have an honest government in place,” he said.

All this unsubstantiated lies that the APC has been using all in a bid to discredit PDP is getting out of hand and becoming more ridiculous.

This government has put in measures to only make it almost impossible for investors yet being unable to provide jobs that these investors would have provided.

An illiterate that knows almost nothing about economic governance will always throw any nation into recession just as he did.
They claim to be fighting corruption while yet money is embezzled on a daily using the CBN through commercial banks.

Buhari brought nothing but vague promises, more bloodshed, police/military brutality, sophisticated forms of corruption and tyranny.
Buhari has only taken us back to his dictatorial days despite relinquishing his title as a general.
Democracy has been lost as well as good and reliable investors under BUhari.

I don't know about others, but God doesn't permit me to hate, and honestly I have never hated anyone in my life. I don't hate Buhari, I don't hate APC. I will never wish APC as a political party to die, they should be strong in the Interest of our nation, so that we avoid a one party state.

What I hate is a man who is totally incompetent and his gang of hypocrites ruling over a nation and making the future bleak for it's citizens while claiming he is doing much.

Heaven knows that I have wished that a divine move would get Osinbajo in the helm of affairs during jubrins sick days knowing that he will do better for the country as president than the lifeless one, though making it more difficult for an Igbo man to be president. But that's the least of my problem. What I need is a performing president who will create an environment for me and other nigerians to thrive in the things we do to earn a living.

Jubrin El Sudan will continue to move us backwards, and I hate that.
