Muhammadu Buhari campaigning in Aba Jan 2015, promised steady power to enterpreneurs in Aba marker.

Fastforward to 2018, he has fulfiled his promise.

Here is a video where he made the promise back in 2015. Note the emphasis on ensuring power supply for the entrepreneurs of Aba.

The Ariaria Electrification Project is in fulfilment of that promise. A 9.5MW Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Plant is under construction for the Market

1st Photo is what the construction of the Ariaria IPP - an initiative of REA Nigeria as part of its #EnergizingEconomies Programme - looked like in May 2018.

The next two photos show the project in Nov 2018.

When completed 37,000 shops will benefit. A promise fulfilled.

As of now there is a great improvement in power supply to these 37,000 shops in Ariaria market with the supply being from 7am to 5.30 pm daily pending the total completion of this project

This is his drive to empower local entrepreneurs in Aba with steady power to maximize production.

This is something no government has ever done or thought of doing to encourage Aba entrepreneurs.
