Is this the Peter Obi's mall near Pabod at Trans-amadi?

Park n Shop came, we rushed them. After sometime, people got fed up.

Port Harcourt Mall came, we all rushed them, at a time, it was as if that's the only tourist destination in PH. People just walk in, take pictures and leave without buying any goods.

Market Square came, we all rushed to buy too. All the 'small girl, big God' girls in PH were always there looking for who to maga.

Now, Next Cash and Carry will soon open. Let me even go and buy a phone with high pixel camera which i will use to take picture when they start

I love PH people because after sometime they will still abandon it for another new one.

It's happening to Eateries too. Now, we are patronizing DOMINO'S PIZZA at Olu Obasanjo because they are new in town.

the thing is this places don't realise that people are always looking for new things , they should renovate regularly to always give their place a fresh new feeling

I am yet 2 c the mall that will best everyday supermarket. Those guys are the best ,they might not be big brother,U will find whatever u are looking 4 there. Is only human part they don't sell.

Everyday super market with branches in Woji road GRA Portharcourt and their two big branches in ikenegu and World bank road Owerri, is a big player in the Mart industry, Atleast in the Old eastern axis. Igbos are actually trying by giving the multinationals like shoprite a run for their money through indigenous startups in the east.

Another Mart to watch out for is Roban Stores, as well as priceless stores, which are fast taking over the eastern region

Nigerians and poor business sense. Shopping malls and hotels littering the whole country when the purchasing power of the populace is reducing... Such a weird country. We just like to consume and have an averse attitude to production which is actually what can drive the economy.

We will get there soon.
You buy from others before manufacturing yours.
America independence, 17century, now manufafactures many things.

Nigeria independence, 1960, will soon manufacture many things.

America 200& something years, Nigeria less than 60 years, we will get there.

Is this development? I might be wrong, but we need development beyond malls. Come to think of it, the owner isn't Nigerian.

Peter Obi is the main man. Kudos. I hope Nigerians will vote right in 2019 so that Atiku and Obi can turn Nigeria's economy around.

Lies.
1. This shopping mall isn't half the size of Port Harcourt shopping mall.
2. The mail has been operational since September.
3. The road leading to the mall is a disaster.
4. The location of the mall is terrible. Trans Amadi is basically an industrial area. Very lonely at Night and weekends.

For me, poor feasibility studies in siting that mall there.

They were probably looking for land that was relatively cheap

Don't understand....are jobs not created for the numerous people working at the malls??,if there is a huge market for manufacturing companies that the malls provide, will they not sell more products, expand and employ more people??.Anyways enjoy.

More of malls (Consume consume consume !!) ..less of factories ( produce produce produce !!) when will Nigeria get its priorities right ? Just when ?

When the time comes!

America almost 300years of independence and now sufficient.

Nigeria less than 60years of independence and will make it when the right time comes.

You are very correct! In Choba, eateries like Mr Bigs where ousted by Sammie's, and later Sammie's by Kilimanjaro etc.

BTW, which of these shopping malls is owned by Rotimi Amaechi?

Poverty is a bad thing.

How is it Poverty? How does someone trying to empower another person equate to poverty?. Many of us often have this skewed mentality that buying from the big malls equals affluence, wealth etc.. On the contrary i think its actually a poor' man's idea of wealth- thats why some people living in Agege Lagos will pay transport fare of say N200 to go buy only a bottle of coke at shoprite in Ikeja for N100. I know very many rich people living in Lekki that send their house staff to come buy food items in bulk on the mainland to save cost. Buying from the neighborhood to help the petty trader across the street isnt poverty my Friend!

Hoping to be like america in less than 60years to me amount to greediness.

PH people get fed up of one almost as the next new "Mall" is open.

SPA, still attract customers and selfie tourists.
Others are now being patronized by the neighborhood.
