Carlyscales:
Sorry he n his party doesn't have d structure, people n finances.

The real mass people that decide this election do not know Oby n Sowore.
Neither do they even have a smart phone

I understand ur passion and line of reasoning. U n other well meaning Nigerians are in the ideal world but the reality is as illustrated below:

Having lived, schooled n worked in all parts of Nigeria. I can tell u that the block votes of northern n southern followers of Buhari will remain intact.
Example is if u have ever tried convincing a supporter of Buhari??

But it's d vote of most Nigerians (me n u) that are fed up with Buhari n Atiku that will be divided amongst Moghalu, Sowore, Ezekwesili, Durotoye, Hashim etc

Infact how many of these mushroom political parties have any meaningful structures in d North?
They should go to the North and converse for votes now( after all NW has the highest no of eligible voters naa)

Hence In this election any vote that is not for PDP, is a vote for Buhari.

Now looking at Hashim, Oby, Moghalu, Sowore and others sef:
They want to rule Nigeria but can't even amongst themselves get a consensus candidate for maximum impact at the pools. Even their umpire Oby is now also contesting.

No matter how good, spiritual, tongue n sweet talking u are as a young pastor no big n serious church will just call u n make u their senior pastor. U gat to start from small or their village church work d ropes, earn their trust n Work ur way up. So I strongly believe some of these young talking strong chaps should start from like Senate, HOS etc.

Y is everyone irrespective of tribe n religion hailing d choice of Peter Obi as running mate today in Nigeria. Simply that he has passed his exams as a state Gov period.
He vowed by d time he's done with reforms in secondary schools in d state , many Anambrians with all money to afford private schools will have to withdraw their wards from private to secular schools due to improved standards. And that actually happened B4 he finished his second term.

So with all due respect to them none of these parties have what it takes to dislodge Buhari in 2019. Because they simply don't have d structures n people. In every nook n crannies of this nation u will find APC n PDP people. Did know that in Osun rerun election, one of d observers was describing a polling unit that's far away from d village n like 30min trek into d bush. It's that serious my dr.

They be serious n patrioticoo, with capacity as well oo. But there coming out now is foolish. Because they are still working to d benefit of Buhari indirectly.

So obviously, Atiku may not be the best candidate amidst all the political aspirants but he's d only that has what it takes to dislodge Buhari in 019

Just look at d results in Edo, Ekiti n Osun it's still PDP n APC. Even SDP that made some impact in Osun was all about Omisore than SDP. That's y when it came to selling votes he went ahead and sold to d highest bidder with any regards or respect to d natl leadership of SDP.

The ideal is that with Moghalu, Oby, Datti Ahmed etc as president n our leaders. Nigeria will turn around. But the reality is that Nigerians are not moved by ideas but by their needs n stomachs. And u can't expect more with the level of poverty in this country. Poor people are simply moved by their stomachs and so is Nigerians, a pity though.

But the way forward is simple:
If Buhari n APC Know that Nigerians can reject them after 4yrs, will they be denying promises they made B4 elections n taking Nigerians for granted

So I say since the nijja politicians don't owe allegiance to any political ideologies or convictions. I say let d voters be the same(not supporting any party or candidate blindly) by changing them (party n presidents)

PDP failed we sent them packing. Now APC has failed let's booth them out n bring back PDP. If Atiku fails send him packing n bring back APC. That's how it's done in US where we borrowed ours democracy from - switching between Democrats n Republicans. If every of our politicians n party know that they can loose after 4yrs. No one will tell them to sit up n deliver good governance period.
do you know that, the time you spent in typing all this criticism, you could have used it to win 10 people for Sowore in your area... but no.. the only thing you can do is discourage people and kill dreams... I keep saying, our major problem is not leadership, but people like you...

I would only agree with you if you can quit hiding behind nairaland anonymity and make your real identity known and then proceed to openly campaign for her as your candidate and ensure she wins. Otherwise, your case is worse than my own.

And that reminds me, regardless of her world bank CV, it is my humble opinion that Atiku is still greater than her and possibly greater than you will ever be.

Oby is particular about a better Nigeria where things work for majority and not where things work for less than one percent.

We have the resources to achieve this but some rogues won't just allow it.

Aren't you bother that Atiku wants to sell NNPC?

Have we recovered from the ones he sold as chairman of Privatization under Obasanjo that eventually led to their hatred? Get yourself a copy of Obasanjo's book My Watch.

My friend, this election is about Integrity of the contestants and I doubt if Atiku has any left.

How can a man who unrepentantly have love for selling national asset to private individuals want to follow due process, he is so confident of the gullibility of his followers that he categorically made it clear he would sell NNPC, the major cash cow of the federation, Which gives remittance to the the federation account and later the proceed shared among federal, state and local government. Shared funds of which is used to pay salary, fund state and local government road constructions, fund local health centers.

If MMM can defruad many gullible Nigerians even after many signs and warnings, atiku would also garner supporters but its left to people with intact brains to continue enlightening the gullible once
OK I'm beggining to understand u westerners aren't capitalists. No wonder you guys still believe nnoc which has cost us trillions of dollars and help down our biggest sector via incompetence as a result of quota system and federal xter..shouldn't be privatised. Even Ibe kachikwu during his senate confirmation stated he would unbundle and privatise nnoc. Any sane human in Nigeria knowz nnoc is a looters paradise. It needs to be relegated to regulatory body.

Petroleum Industry Governance bill would solve all the issues you mentioned, firstly some of NNPC core functions would be given to DPR, then other sub agency would be created still withing the public sector frame work. No serious county leaves its Energy sector Especially petroleum/uranium/coal/or power fully in the hands of private sector or perhaps foreigners

Black mans mindset (prolly atiku and PDP) if something isn't working optimally you don't always sell it off, you can always fix the workforce issues with a good quality control policy, you can replace quota system with merit based system, and lastly if all this fails you can sell some of its shares on the stock market to the public (perhaps 40% with government holding controlling shares). We privatized Nigerian airways (which as ineffective as it is helps reduce cost of government workers on estacodes and travel allowance) we sold power distribution company(only for us to start paying very ridiculous estimated billing prices) look I can go on and on, on the demerit of outright sale of our money making ventures but rather than fixing corruption we want to reward few individuals for it. If you sell NNPC it would get into the hands of the few and their kids would continue amassing wealth like DJ cuppy, the alakijas and davido, common wealth that can better the lives of others. Oh and lastly after atiku privatized delta steal company, didn't the buyers halt production and sell of some of its asset as scrap while many Nigerians were left jobless without their pensions been paid till date

The Atikulooted are actually looted! Or how can explain those that don't have achievement but keep criticising one with little. In the first bolded, how much of your details are known in NL that you're asking someone to reveal his? That's what atiku too is doing- castigating pmb because he has not been able to fix Nigeria in 3+ plus yet drafting a SIX-YEAR approach!
Second bolded, if you say atiku is richer, i agree (of course from eating thus country out since his days in Customs till date. Aside from this, anywhere Oby is sitting and talking across the world, your tin-god would only sit at home and watch her on TV!

you're quite funny. You mentioned 2 privatised sectors while ignoring other successful ones.... In reality the power sector was unbundled NOT fully privatised and as expected the spanner in the wheel is transmission which is STILL under govt control. If the discos are allowed to generate and transmit Without sending to the national grid they would succeed. It was ppl like that insisted power shouldnt be fully privatised. The same is happening with BING.. Which the fgs contributory role is the reason that company is operating below 40% capacity. Have you read IBBs civil service reforms? I'm sure u don't even know anything about govt policies from 1970. He tried to instil meritocracy but you've forgotten this is a country that when meritocracy was thriving igbos were accused of being greedy which led to bloodshed. Pls b4 u argue on a topic go study. You mentioned blackrace selling etc......Do you know how the US became a capitalist nation? They tried to make the govt work but the very nature of the American is driven by avarice. It's important to consider the idiosyncrasies of a people before choosing a system of govt. Nigerians are people that consider the motherland last under every other need ie you are yoruba b4 you are Nigerian. Now if you look at nations that communism and socialism worked youd realise their population isnt really driven by avarice and are simple minded. Eastern Europe and west Indies cones to mind. So face reality and consider what has worked for us. In history I don't remember any govt controlled sector is operational. The only sectors working here are all private controlled. Irrespective of the fact some extra rich may emerge but I'm very sure they would employ ppl. I cnt b arguing this wth u my man.

Sadly, this is the same man some people are telling us to hand the key to Nigeria's treasury to. The man who as vice president opposed due process in procurement process. What's even more troubling is the fact that he intends to sell our biggest revenue asset (NNPC) during the first six months of his administration.

When Bismarck Rewane asked him who he intends to sell the corporation to, his ass lickers told us due process will be followed. Now we know he's an enemy of due process. Nigerians will forever regret if we allow that rogue called Atiku to be president for just a day. He will sell NNPC, NLNG and other valuable national assets to himself without regards to due process.
peeps working in NNPC wud become jobless
