I'm bearded, but I have never and will never shave with a razor blade or shaving stick..


I shave only when I'm.having a hair cut and the clippers does the job perfectly.

There used to be a time when i had severe bumps issue till i discovered hot water. Works for me and my chin is like a baby anytime i shave

I use ordinary shaving stick to shave & friction..& no bump. My beards no stubborn

To avoid bumps, I use a new razor with each shave and.....wait for this..... I moisten the area to be shaved with soap and water. It makes the shaving very easy and smooth.

The only problem that arises is when I have to shave my down under, , not the most comfortable of shaves. Too sensual

The one caused by ingrowing hair
The one caused by bacteria as a result of dirt of what ever kind

Before i go to the barber, i make sure i got no ingrown hair by pulling them out. Ingrown hair can be caused by blunt clipper or even when you sleep on your cheek the hair would want to curl back into the skin.

After ensuring that, i use hot water and towel to press gently on my chin , several times so that what ever bump is still inflamed will lessen wether caused by ingrown or bacteria.

I dont go to the baber immediately . I wait for two hours after using hot water, so the inflammation would lessen. I visit the baber, no single bump or very minimal which can be further reduced by simple after shave.

Immediately after barbing i repeat the process with hot water and thats all.

Been doing this for a year. Good result
Just dont visit a careless barber that will destroy your chin with constant scraping all in the name of clean shave

I have one of the strongest and curly hair my barber has ever seen, which makes me very vulnerable to bumps (ingrown). But i manage myself well because im not a fan of beard gang

Not true! If u shave with razor/shaving Stick, use a high quality one like Gillette 3 or 5 blade (not the cheap disposable one o) and shave regularly say every other day or every other two days. Also replace the blades after 7 shaves and shave with the grain not against it. Also apply a good after shave when done

Good one for up but for down I gently and carefully trim them (with new sharp scissors) to avoid bumps.
