BetterDaysAhead:OP. I was in the church too and I attended the whole program. See as people dey come out dey donate millions. Some of these guys are not even up to 30. My conclusion is none of them made it through monthly salary. It must have been through business, deals, contracts or inheritance. |

[ Qualifications of Overseers ] "This is a faithful saying: If a man desires the position of a bishop, he desires a good work. A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, of good behavior, hospitable, able to teach; not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money, but gentle, not quarrelsome, not covetous;" - 1 Timothy 3 [Lay Up Treasures in Heaven] - “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal." - Matthew 6:19-20 I'm not insinuating that one shouldn't work hard to meet financial obligations, but one shouldn't set one's heart on wealth or anything that passes away. We came into this world with nothing, we certainly take nothing from it. |
