about my interview.

Wow. That was an intense experience. Really sorry you had to go through such and thanks for sharing. Did the interviewer introduce herself or give her job title? Interested in knowing if it was done by a diplomat or a local support staff.

Interesting your thought that they won't have capacity to issue PPRs until January.

She didn’t introduce herself at all. No idea who she is or what she does.
AVO basically emailed everyone to tell them to wait till January. That’s why I think that. My next due date from my notes is December 18 and so we’ll see.

She was white tho. Maybe originally from Canada but has worked in Ghana for centuries.

Great work bro. That was some test of nerve.

SkyWalk12:
My interview story: conducted on September 18, 2018 in Accra.

My interview was for 10am and I got there at 9:20. The security goes through all your bags and takes every electronic device including your chargers. She took my electric toothbrush even.
Then you walk through a metal detector and then go back to her to collect the rest of your stuff that she hasn’t kept in a locker. She will then direct you to another security post where you write your name and purpose and collect a visitor badge. Then you are directed to the waiting room for interviews.
You are to immediately go to the window and drop your documents then go and sit down. There’s a toilet, a water dispenser and a TV that no one turned on.

Anyway, I’m happy and waiting and I know that God is making my way perfect in Canada while I wait. And several times during that interview, I wanted to give up, she just kept attacking me, but I asked myself, if you don’t fight for this, what will you fight for? So I fought back. I fought one more round.

@skywalk12, Your interview is really an eye opener, those whose employers tell them to draft their reference letters should be careful not to make all the letters similar...

Also, if you've worked in a family company, you should be ready to prove it.

Thanks for sharing and I wish you the best.. smiley

Oh my! That was intense. She was trying to break you but I’m glad you held your own.

Good comments in the notes there, I’d say your application is already approved.

All the best in Canada! You have definitely earned it.

Stage is inconsistent: On the site, it says you need PPR, but some poeple have registered with ITA, AOR and others when they tried they were asked for PPR/CoPR letter.

Thank you

AOR is Jan 26. Was originally in LVO moved to AVO for interview. They email you with interview location once it’s decided that you’ll do an interview.
