We know you will miss it. We knew since you said it. I think you will stop wasting our time and contact Jay Leno. He is good at restoring antique machines and will probably appreciate the comedic side of your efforts.... Next!!!.... |

nwakibie3:Uncle Ibe, respect yourself and resign from this government before they destroy your career. Engr Joseph Makoju left government to work for Dangote and he is doing well. Please go back to the oil industry and lend your talents there. Let the FG decide what to do with these stoves called refineries. We have had more than twenty TAM on the refineries and done so many expansions and even the latest of them is not working at full capacity. Does it portray the government and leaders as a serious entity. If they cant manage it, they should sell these STOVES to willing buyers who will run it like an enterprise. |

Lol... Anyone that trust this fail government must be checked thoroughly. This man said he will resign if the country refineries doesn't start working fully by 2019.... Now, he's changing voice just like his master. I was wondering, instead of wasting money on a already dead refineries, why can't we build another one that we know will benefit the country even if it will take 5 years? |

Jombom:Empty head human being.... What has this got to do with Igbo man? Is the refinery his private property? Will he use his money to repair it to function fully? |

HardcoreEdoman:Which modular refinery? Which Gelegele seaport? Are you talking about. The one in planning stage or the one already finished. LIARS!!! For your info, Azura is a private undertaking negotiated and started under the last Govt. I hope you know that. It was just scheduled to be completed around this time. Altho this Govt gets some credit for allowing it to finish. |

To the decerning it was obvious that it was a cheap political statement and a ploy to siphon money. The newest refinery in Nigeria is the new port harcourt refinery that was commissioned in 1989. The life span of a process plant is 25 years of good maintenance. Our newest plant is 29 years. Oldest which is old port Harcourt refinery is over 50 years Warri refinery is 40 years all of very bad maintenance regime. So trying to revamp these scraps is an exercise in futility. |
