Your reasoning is good but ours is such a curropt society that makes reasoning like this wrong. Take these guys to the police station and the next day they are back on the street doing greater evil. I don't know if you know these guys use guns and other dangerous weapons. What if the person they robbed was killed in the act.

Saw the whole event today, what a pity, they were like 4 or 5 in number, but the mob were able to catch 2, beat the hell out of them, even the army was passing that road with their van but didn't do anything. Until they were set ablaze.
