See The crowds That welcomed Goodluck Jonathan when he visited Maiduguri by socialmediaman(op): 7:42pm On Nov 28, 2018

When former President Goodluck Jonathan visited Maiduguri as President, he was also received by massive crowds, yet he lost the election in the state.

Here are a few of the photos of the crowds GEJ witnessed on his visit(s) to Maiduguri, Borno. In the last photo, his convoy was actually trapped due to the massive crowd who welcomed him.

What President Buhari witnessed in Maiduguri today was expected for a presidential visit. His fate will be determined at the polls in 2019, not by the crowds witnessed on his visit to the state.

Look and inveatigate well.gej came for a pdp event,rally or campaign judging by the pdp attire there were adorning which means the crowd was definitely rented to suit the occasion.but on the other hand,buhari came for an apolitical event with no political bearing.it was a last minute visit as he was originally billed to be in Edo therefore your post is out of place.even a madman knows that buhari will sweep borno anytime any day, atiku has no grassroot support and can't compete.sorry

The PDP Atiku/Obi project is one born and mired in hatred because it has the most hateful folks in Nigeria giving it 99% of their backing. This is how they gave GEJ even more votes than his ethnic fellow men from the SS.

Atiku and Obigotry will be disgraced for sure because they are backed by those only capable of alienating others with politics of hate and bitterness. We saw this in 2015 and it seems some people never learn from their mistakes and never make progress mentally.

Impromptu is arguable because it was made public at least days in advance. We all knew when he decided he was going to visit, that’s all the residents need to know to turnout. It’s different from when he flies into Maiduguri unannounced.
