When former President Goodluck Jonathan visited Maiduguri as President, he was also received by massive crowds, yet he lost the election in the state. Here are a few of the photos of the crowds GEJ witnessed on his visit(s) to Maiduguri, Borno. In the last photo, his convoy was actually trapped due to the massive crowd who welcomed him. What President Buhari witnessed in Maiduguri today was expected for a presidential visit. Corrinthians: The PDP Atiku/Obi project is one born and mired in hatred because it has the most hateful folks in Nigeria giving it 99% of their backing. wakaman: Impromptu is arguable because it was made public at least days in advance. We all knew when he decided he was going to visit, that’s all the residents need to know to turnout. It’s different from when he flies into Maiduguri unannounced. |
