The President of Buhari Youth Organisation (BYO) and son of a former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, Olujonwo, has said since politics is not a war or a battle, he has every right to support the re-election bid of President Muhammadu Buhari as against his father’s choice of a former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar.

Olujonwo said this yesterday in Abuja while fielding questions from journalists on the activities of his group during a press conference held at the national secretariat of the APC.

“I believe I’m here as an individual, youth and someone who believes that this government is for the youths and future generations.

“This government is leading us towards economic diversification as this nation is blessed with vast resources. I believe in this government as an individual and I’m supporting Mr. President. I can’t speak on behalf of my father,” he said.

“When you get to a certain stage and point in your life, you can choose your path. My father remains my father despite different political ideologies,” he said.

Olujonwo further said, “We need to progress mentally. Politics is meant to unite us. We can agree to disagree. That is the kind of politics we are trying to promote. Politics is to unite, not to divide us.”

The young Obasanjo lauded the successes recorded by the Buhari-administration in agriculture and road construction.

The BYO president expressed optimism that President Buhari would still win in 2019 despite propaganda against him on the social media.

Olujuwon Obasanjo that they are praying for..Has no pedigree aside been Obj Son. They even had to marry wife for him, joining him with Obj Friend's daughter. He was working just as an aide to his father. The Mum even wanted him not to marry the lady, made noise everywhere yet he could not Stand his ground. He was also assisted by his wife's brother because he is not Man enough- yet he wasted the opportunity. He has been running away from his wife and parents for sometime now and he now decided to get so limelight and favour by declaring publicly he is against his father's public position.

Doesn't matter who you support, as far as Nigerian politics is concerned you're a nonentity with no political clout and no followership the only thing you've got going for you is that name Obasanjo which by its self has lost relevance.
