I have used a few infinix phones myself, they didn't live up to expectations. Repair time and frustration makes customers get chatty and in the process they tend to divulge information about the time the product was bought etc. Lots of friends and associates are using these brands and majority of them have a complaint or the other.

i have looked up the phones and my heart is glued to the redmi 5 plus but checking d price, its quite expensive for me. I searched for it on jumia to get an idea of the price and found out that redmi 5 plus with 64gb internal storage is N68,000 while redmi 5 plus with 32gb internal storage is N58,000. Unfortunately as much as i love the phone, my budget is below the price but thank u anyways for ur suggestions, i appreciate.

i looked up this phone and i am in love with the specs. Tried to get an idea of the price and on jumia for redmi plus with 64gb internal storage is 68k while the one with 32gb internal storage is 58k. I don't get it, is it that really expensive or what? My budget is 45k.

It's on Jumia as the Nokia X5 (but its Nokia 5.1 Plus), it goes for around 49K

You sure you're not mistaking the price of the Nokia 6.1 Plus as that of Nokia 5.1 Plus. Check again...

Exactly! The vanity of showing that one is superior. Had I not used infinix, I might have seen it as substandard(as people put it) but I have used infinix and their is no sufficient need of mine that it hasn't met. Most people want iPhone not because they know it's abilities but because they want to show off. I don't buy phones for such reasons. If it's good, if it meets my needs and I can afford it, no problem.

I don't get why people look down on infinix. Infinix is a very good and versatile android phone. I think people do this for the same reason they think a bread bought in shoprite is better than that but from their estate supermarket, it's purely psychological. I am not saying infinix is the best but it's very good and very durable as well.
