we are specific about UCL man..Suarez has been ghosting for 2 seasons in a row in the UCL, the same line up should be used by EV in UCL till Suarez get sense pick form

False 9 with Messi won't work with pure wingers that don't pressure defense and rarely gets into No 9 positions.. When he played false 9, we had Etoo, Henry, Villa, Sanchez, all know how to take the no 9 position.. We have dembele and Malcolm, pure wingers, Coutinho would rather slot back into midfield position than pressure defense.. The few times Messi had played false 9 in the past years, we had Suarez in the wings

You judge a player by what he plays week in, week out. Not what he plays rarely. Because suarez scored 1 goal in about 10 games in the ucl last season and 0 goals in 4 dis season, he has to be benched?

Ronaldo had one/two goals in the CL last two seasons as at this stage, did they bench him? No and you saw how many goals he ended with, Ronaldo currently has 1 goal in the CL, should they bench him? .. If you can score in the league, you can score in the Champions League, it's just a matter of time and with a player like Suarez that offers everything, you can't take such risk with no back up

it is no longer news that Ronaldo picks up his scoring form towards the end of the competition but can the same be said of Suarez?

What do u guys think of messi's transformation to a midfielder. We had a glimpse of that during the final minutes of the game against athletico.
It was malcom, suarez and dembele up front with messi slightly behind them. It was the same role fimino played against watford when he was behind mane, salah and shaqiri.
